    • I have a feeling it's white alcohol ink. The white is heavier and drags the other colours down, blending them and causing interesting effects.

  • I love all these videos…but why the mystery of what they are using? The questions only get answered by other users. Thank you to those that do that! I get frustrated when there is no instruction. Especially with the more complicated projects. I know there is a particular white that works better than others with the alcohol ink. Can anyone tell me? And the best alcohol ink? Mine have all been just turning black or purple lately. Where can I get help with the inks?

    • @@paigeupchurch7306 yep I do that too! Does the resin have to be a certain density? Like really thin or thicker? I used Diy counter couture. Once just “artist” and another time the medium density. Maybe too much white? It ends up one color at the top when it’s set and you turn it over. Thanks again I wish they would recommend a resin, but that would involve an endorsement…yada yada…

      @marylounurkiewicz7413@marylounurkiewicz74132 жыл бұрын
    • @@marylounurkiewicz7413 so my go to is CC DIY as well. I do a warm water bath before I measure and mix and then I use a heat gun as needed. Most of what is shown here is down with UV resin which is slightly different to work with. When using my regular non uV resin the inks will sort of sit on top I sometimes use a toothpick to poke the surface to allow some maneuvering. But usually heating up the resin just a bit does the trick. When working in small molds you have to use minimal ink to get the desired effect. Too much ink can cause the epoxy to want to repel
