    @paolosantiago7543@paolosantiago75432 жыл бұрын
    • That’s because Keegan wrote the skit and not the “writers” that usually write them. The only shitty part was whoever played the security old man. The lines and way they were delivered was just awful.

      @KelticTim@KelticTim2 жыл бұрын
    • @@KelticTim I do agree that Keegan Michael-Key is 100% essential to this skit but I would have to disagree with you about the role of the old security guard. I give props to Heidi Garder. I do understand that the voice was not at all accurate but then again, it is just a parody or a skit. With that being said, I believe that the representation is spot on for comedic effect.

      @paolosantiago7543@paolosantiago75432 жыл бұрын
    • @@paolosantiago7543 yea, comedy is subjective after all, just not my cuppa funny is all. I mean could you see that happening during one of the great casts? The Sandler, Spade, Farley era, or the originals would’ve come up with some way funnier way for the guard to be.

      @KelticTim@KelticTim2 жыл бұрын
    • @@KelticTim for sure, comedy is very subjective but I believe that they were also limited to the idea of the real event and just played upon the exaggeration of the characters. I would cite "More Cowbell" as an example of this type of exaggeration.

    • Coincidentally, the celebrity who hosted this episode and played Michael Jordan in this sketch (Keegan Michael Key) was a MADtv cast member (I think from season 8 all the way to the final season on FOX [season 14]). And the episode he hosted is proof that the whole "SNL vs. MADtv" feud is stupid, since the humor is more-or-less the same. It just boils down to personal preference. And people don't consider that there are those out there who love both shows and those out there who don't like either show and feel that there are other sketch shows out there that are funnier.
