2K's end of game logic has always been goofy as the best player (If not a PG or SF) never get the ball at the end of the game and it's generally always the same play so it is easily defended if you are playing the CPU.

This wouldnt have worked because if miami took kobe la would have wanted wade not the front court players they got. Caron butler gets hurt like always and miami stinks for a while because chucker supreme cant carry and kobe is probably ok with svgs coaching style since hes also an ahole. La is good but probably doesnt win right away with lack of role players and coaching. La gets gasol for what seems like free at the time thanks to jerry west recognizing marc gasol is a hidden gem and his relationship with la and miami does its best to surround kobe with talent but never manages to pull off the same homerun moves he gets in la. Wade becomes the face of the league in la and he shaq, gasol and artest win the title. . He later gets dwight howard and they manage to coexist because wades not an asshole so he stays and is healthier than kobe at this point and those two together probably win more titles. Kobe doesnt become the overrated hype job he is now and becomes top 75 instead of the ludicrous top 5 and wade then becomes the overrated one. Perception is funny.

Realistically, I don't think Kobe wins on the Heat because Dwayne Wade wouldn't be there. They play the same position with nearly an identical play style. Wade is a better mid-range jump shooter, but he wouldn't sit on the bench for Kobe, and you couldn't have him play the 1 because Wade isn't an instinctive passer, nor and he'd have to get his own shot nearly all the time. I think Wade would have been traded TO LA to get Kobe. Same outcome would have happened with Shaq & Wade, just in LA, and LeBron would have more than likely come to LA sooner since Wade would have already been there.

- @@themange59 notice I said "play style". They're both primarily mid-range jump shooters with slashing ability, and some post up moves. People tend to forget that Wade is not a small person. He's 6'5. He's not a point guard. He's not a passer. Also, to get Kobe OFF the Lakers, he had more worth than Shaq at that point in time being in the PRIME of his career in 04-05, so The Heat are not getting Kobe without giving up a prime player, which would have meant Lamar Odom and Wade would have been traded.

- It wasn’t intended to be a what if on what kobe would have done hypothetically. It was just a simple sim for fun to see how kobe would do with the career path shaq took and to see how shaq would do sticking with the lakers. No research needed!
