  • For the hand warmer, the piece you were pouring the fluid into comes off and reveals a fill hole. You fill it in there, put the piece back on, light it, and put the cap back on.

  • You are supposed to pull the heater unit off the hand warmer to expose the cloth below, then you soak the cloth and put the heater unit back on then hold a flame to it for like 15 seconds...

    • There is a Zippo "gadget" I just got that is a keychain with a small stainless steel container that holds enough fluid to fill a Zippo along with a flint holder that holds 1 flint and has a thing that is about the size of a penny with 1/8th of it cut off to make a flat edge to unscrew the flint screw which is also super handy for prying open a can/bottle of lighter fluid! It has a split ring and a clip for attaching it to stuff. It's about the size of a Bic lighter. Personally I just keep it in my vehicle incase of emergency! Got it on Zippo website!

  • I really like the first fire starter. You can reuse it with charcloth once you use up the fibers that come with it. I'm sure you can also store extra flints in it as well. I also like the hand warmer.

  • Zippo ROCKS!!! I've used my day to day and survival products for thirty nears. These new products have great design, functionality and purposes. I've started hundreds of campfires and stoves from traditional Zippos. I'm gonna buy some of these and put my old ones in my collection with my Dad's old ones and my Dad's Buck knifes. Again Zippo ROCKS!!!

  • I've gotten the hand warmer to last 18 hours. You'll have to over fill it though. I also used coleman fuel, little bit oily and burns a little longer. Leaves everything pink but didn't notice any problems.

  • Bro im pretty sure you have to fill fuel in the waterproof zippo. You can even see the pin who soaks it to the firestone. thats why you have trouble opening the wool. its made to soak fuel =D
