The little girl in "Abigail" is from "Matilda The Musical" she's incredibly talented. I only wish they didn't spoil that she's a vampire. That would've been a great surprise.
That would have been fun to watch, they should have left it where we know something is wrong with the little girl and she's vicious but we don't know what it is until we see the movie

The problem with movies nowadays are their trailers, they practically give away the whole movie plot there's no point watching the actual movie Because of it.

I feel like I've watched the whole film already with these trailers. I remember the first ever Hunger Games trailer, saw it when the saga wasn't big yet and was BLOWN AWAY by the film because the trailer showed so little. There's art in that.

Lisa Frankenstein was actually quite good lol. Exceeded my expectations, personally. Pretty light-hearted, campy, and a little rom-commy. A tad reminiscent of Corpse Bride and Edward Scissorhands. I'd give it a solid B+
That does look good! It reminds me a bit of “Warm Bodies” (about the zombies). And idk when it is supposed to be set but it looks like ‘80s especially with how they were dressed and the music playing in the clip.
@shannonnichols3415 Ahh, I forgot about "Warm Bodies"!! That is a good comparison as well. It is set in the '80s, I wanna say the mid-late 80s? Like, 1986-ish. I think this film was supposed to be reminiscent of the b-class horror movies of the time! I would definitely recommend it if you're on the fence or ever bored and not sure what to watch :)

People are cr@zy if they think the Backrooms is scary bc there are monsters in it. The Backrooms is a psychological horror nightmare to be trapped endlessly in a nowhere dimension.

Yes! And wendigos! Haven't found a single good horror movie about them, I am excited for the Until Dawn LA movie but it will probably disappoint me since the game is freaking amazing.

The film LifeChanger was really good. Not really skinwalker, but sort of more like shapeshifter. Had a good plot and it actually makes viewers THINK.

The Mickey Mouse movie just looks like such a wasted opportunity. They could have made it like bendy and the ink machine where the characters are real and to me that would have been creepier if it had that supernatural take instead of some guy wearing a mask but it just looks so bad

I know right? For the most part, slasher films nowadays are not really scary. They're more like gory action films, that may or may not end up with everyone but the bad guy(s) dead. Sometimes they're extra gory, but not really scary.
I was watching the last 30 seconds of the Abigail trailer with a sample of music from Kahoot for some reason, and it synced perfectly, and it made me laugh XD
"Deliver Us" was actually a good watch
The actress in the end-scene of "Tarot" had a significant amount of nostril mucous, and it reminded me of the "Scary Movie --- The Blair Witch Project" parody scene where the actress runs away from the noise she heard at night in the forest and then stops to record herself and as she stood in front of the camera a waterfall of nostril mucous streams down from her nose enough to fill 2 milk-gallon bottles. 😅

why EVERY single terror or alien movie use that crunching-like broken door-shirring opening sound? It is the exact same in every movie! The same in the spide movie, lovely dark and deep, in a quiet place, silent hill and every other movie with monsters or alien!

The directors and writers of horror movies have really stopped trying. The movies they make these days are predictable and straight comedic. There is no real thought process in these movies anymore. Just stop making them at this point. No one is afraid of these these silly attempts.

I totally agree with you I don't want horror movies to have silly funny scenes and please no slashers cause those are more gore imo.I want to be kept on the edge of my seat. At this point we've seen everything at least once now. I don't mind multiple movies having the same concept but try to keep it exciting and unpredictable. The first conjuring movie is the only one that me in a bit of a chokehold.

I've wondered this too! After some digging, I found out it's because most of the SCPs were made by members of the general public, kr something along those lines, and it would be impossible for anyone to get all the rights to use all of the monsters and such.

I'm sorry but Ghostbusters had "no eyewitnesses"??! He must have forgotten about EVERYONE ON MANHATTAN ISLAND who saw the lights in the sky, the horned dogs and the GD STAY PUFF MARSHMALLOW MAN that just happened to be 100 feet tall!! Those people were probably witnesses. 😳
And what about Lady Liberty, a "Harbor Chick", taking a stroll down the street?! She had a cheering audience... I'll never understand why movie writers are so oblivious that they would even include a line like "with no eyewitnesses" in a movie that references something that had thousands of witnesses. It's poor writing that is getting called out every time. That being said... Imma still watch the new Ghostbusters movie and probably enjoy it.

When Nightmare On Elm Street came out (original from the 80s), my mom and dad had the house to themselves and all the lights off except for the TV they were watching it on and my mom could NOT go anywhere without my dad lol she loved the fact that you HAVE to sleep, and that messed with her mind for a while 😆

Writers need to make an urgent turn about horror stories, 90% of nowadays scripts are nowhere close to "horror" and what the actual word represents. There's no need of great visual effects, 4k image and amazing CGI. A good script, a decent cast and a simple make up can be more effective than any Hollywood's super production. And please, by the beard of Zeus, stop exploiting the "moving to a new house" resource, the real horror is finding a good price if you want to rent a place to live, and organizing your stuff in boxes
