I Learned to BEAT the IQ Tester!!

2018 ж. 19 Мам.

Today I'm going to attempt to beat the famous original IQ Tester. The point of this game is to eliminate the pegs one at a time until you are left with just one. Although many people will try and solve it randomly, I've challenged my self to figure out the pattern and memorize the solution... ENJOY!

  • Just leaving one peg technically isn't the real solution! The "hardest" solution is actually leaving 8 pegs remaining with no possible jumps. The second hardest solution is to leave one peg, *specifically in the hole you originally left empty*. Just leaving one peg on the board is considered the third hardest solution.

    • The DemonSlayer6669 it’s impossible to get that but if there would be a diffrent shape than this triangle also with 15 holes it would be pretty easy to figure out bec you can only move twice after you eliminated one pin to start so there would be not many options So in conclusion you and the 5 people who liked your comment have a really low iq

  • Nice little puzzle. I had to pause the video at one point to find an online version. After a few attempts I finally cracked it too, but from a different starting point (middle edge). We both took about 13 moves to solve it, so I think the key is not where you start but how you continue. I may buy this - the one you have - for my dad, as he likes puzzles and this one looks really nice too! :)

  • Hello Chris! Well done! Here in Brazil we have almost the same game, with the same goal but the name and, more important, the format of the board is different. It is called "Resta Um" that would be roughly translated to "Only One Left" in portuguese (yep...brazillians ain't hispanic since we where colonized by Portugal...). The board is shaped like a cross... search for it in google to see what it is all about. The interesting thing is that the centre hole is always empty but the goal is the same: Make only one peg be left on the board. ... ...but there is a catch: The HARDER way to solve it is to left only one peg ON THE CENTER HOLE which is far far harder , believe me! Nice vid, congrats on the channel and carry on, mate!! Cheers!! (you got a new sub)
