He's really in a bind because his early content that propelled him to popularity isn't available to him anymore and the newer " I'm going where my Uber driver's from" is near the expiration date. He'll most likely move into a BBC Presenter role which I personally believe he'll thrive.

@@buckers7746 Yeah. He’s been there and had a heavily curated experience where he was only allowed to see a fake pretend version of a country. Everything done for the benefit of visitors. I want him to have the opportunity to talk with some of the people who escaped the hellscape and see the prison of North Korea for what it is.

I just watched the full thing on Spotify, I’ve always enjoyed this podcast, but that was probably the best episode I’ve ever heard. Felt like I was watching joe Rogan but with people I actually like. He’s such a cool guy

Genuinely want to know the truth, I don’t trust US or NK.. have looked around but there’s so much out there I don’t know what to believe. Is there any solid evidence you can point me to?

I really disagree when it comes to the guy that stole the poster in north korea and got killed. Why couldn't the north korean government say to the american government and the media that he was in a coma????? It doesn't add up.

because they'd be asked even more questions as to how he got into the coma, how they didn't prevent him from the coma etc

Exactly! He kept saying 'when the body got home' the dude was alive when he returned to USA. There was a video of him returning and he was clearly in horrible condition, unable to move properly without help and was screaming in pain, which goes without saying considering he died just days later. Incredible from Simon, I'm surprised he didn't know this and was almost defending DPRK here.
If anything has taught us in the last few years is that western media and propaganda is just as bad as any other so all Simon is saying is who knows who’s telling the truth re otto, at the end of the day a man has lost his life which is the saddest part.
@@sethroganlegend North Koreans are constantly living with the threat of getting sent to a labour camp where they will most likely die. Read anything about communist regimes of the past and what they did and you might learn that Simon Wilson seeing a North Korean family on the beach does not mean that it’s a great place. The western countries are far from innocent but it’s delusional to go on a podcast and claim North Korea is lovely when those who challenge the regime get shot or sent to Siberia to cut down trees.

@@jamesharland5137 but at the same time, you can literally search Otto Warmbier’s return to the US and he’s conscious in the video. He didn’t return in the coma, nor did he return in a ‘good condition’. He’s been tortured there, for something he most likely didn’t do. The CCTV footage NK released showed a dark figure in a dark hallway, not once does it suggest that it was Otto. I’ve done a bit more research than 10 minutes to say the least BUT, it’s not hard to find out what happened.
