Lyrics:
Wisdom Patience Empathy Kindness
Serenity Clarity
Break out Break out
Turn the key to a world untold
Life is a maze woven with words
BLAH-BLAH, BLAH-BLAH-BLAH, BLAH-BLAH-BLAH-BLAH!
Sick and tired
Normal or not, no big deal
I'm just a quirky note in the symphony
(Quirky note)(Quirky note)
Change your view, change the meaning
Creepiness
It's it's it's worthwhile
Bothersome
At times, it's kindness
Depressed Sickness
Those are virtues of mine!
Courage Integrity Purpose Humility
Respect Loyalty Responsibility
Forges the armor
Liberty Curiosity
Compassion and Affection
Words weave a stealthy chain
Break out Break out
Turn the key to a world untold
Life is a maze woven with words
BLAH-BLAH, BLAH-BLAH-BLAH, BLAH-BLAH-BLAH-BLAH!
Sick and tired
Normal or not, no big deal
I'm just a quirky note in the symphony
(Quirky note)(Quirky note)
Change your view, change the meaning
Creepiness
It's it's it's worthwhile
Bothersome
At times, it's kindness
Depressed sickness
Those are virtues of mine!
I'm not here to fit in this world
I just want to make a difference
The armor of words
It's fine, I've found my fit
Freedom Freedom
Turn the key to a world untold
Love is a maze woven with words
LET'S SHOUT-SHOUT, LET'S SHOUT-SHOUT, LET'S SHOUT-SHOUT-SHOUT!
Let's journey together
Normal or not, no big deal
We're just quirky notes in the symphony
(Quirky notes)
That's why it's beautiful
I'm not here to fit in this world
I just want to make a difference
I'm not here to fit in this world
I just want to make a difference
(La la la)
Break out! Break out!
Turn the key to a world untold
Break out! Break out!
Life is a maze woven with words
We're just quirky notes in the symphony
I'm not here to fit in this world
I just want to make a difference
I'm not here to fit in this world
I just want to make a difference

  • Fun Fact about A.B.A., she originally appeared in the spin-off game Guilty Gear Isuka and got ported to XX. Her theme in Isuka was Quicksilver and in XX it was Keep In Gates, both composed by Masaomi Kikuchi. Strive makes it the first time her theme was done by Ishiwatari himself

    @kaizouwar@kaizouwarАй бұрын
    • What’s cool is that he incorporates little pieces of each of her previous themes in this one too! Seriously a complex piece for such a cool character

    • And even wilder then that, she wasn't even DESIGNED by Daisuke himself...instead she was the baby and the first real character design of legendary fighting game god Mori Toshimichi...the man who would make Blaze blue. Its why Aba seems so different and the line 'quirky note' hits so hard. She really is a 'quirky note' in that she is Mori Toshimichi's baby first and foremost. A 'blazblue character before blaze blue'. Given how the lyrics are and how Mori famously left Arc Systems Works after the failure of a blaze blue mobile game...I want to imagine this song is Daiske wishing Mori love and respect given they grew up together and famously got into gamedev because of their love a unnamed-to-this-day girl in college.

  • I really like this song, I like the distinction between more standard common virtues and the more traditionally negative ones claimed by the singer (presumably A.B.A and/or Paracelsus), which as time goes on both seem to come together towards the end with love becoming a maze as well. This song is both hope for one's ability to change and find connections to others, as well as a denial of conventional understandings of what one should be, and I think it's quite interesting. Even the commonly mentioned "blah-blah-blah"s are fun as they initially seem to be the incomprehensible expectations enforced on people, but towards the end as the singer and their companion join together they instead "shout" and form their own expectations for themselves. In that sense this song is not a rejection of boundaries, but instead a declaration of working together to create ones that actually relate to the subjects, and function on behalf of the involved parties

  • It's a lot less obvious than Mariah and Amazing Grace in Extras, but the "Creepiness" bit of the chorus is musically quoting "Poison" by Bell Biv DeVoe, which is fittingly a song warning someone about a girl with a bunch of red flags, which... **Gestures at ABA** Also, I feel like not enough people are appreciating the wordplay of "Quirk-*key* note in the symphony."

Besides, it's actually a bit smarter than that due to all of the allusions to keys and freedom. "I'm not here to fit in this world" is a double entendre for a key that can't fit in a lock correctly. • What I take from this song is... A.B.A is without a shadow of a doubt, completely and totally with no chance, desire or recognition... for being fixed................. good. "I am no here to fit in this world" the... sincerity of this statement is refreshing and inspiring in a way, don't know if A.B.A was ever "normal" in any point of her life, but if the GGST theme songs are the characters most deep and honest opinions and feelings... A.B.A has no desire to be "normal", she is perfectly and sicerily happy being herself. But at the same time... the rest of the song "hints" at a much bigger desire inside her, a desire to influence and affect the "world" around her.
