I don't understand. If you're going to build a house that high up in a tree, why wouldn't the 1st thing you build be steps up to it? Why the h*** would you want to climb up and down the tree when you could simply build steps and start your lowest floor from the top of your stairs? You could carry materials up and down the stairs instead of having to haul them up by the vines.
