The scene between Rodney and Sam Kennison is a Classic. Rodney really liked Sam. He featured him at his club Dangerfields often!!
"Maybe you can help straighten out my Longfellow." 😂
Loved Rodney’s introduction of the women at his table in the bar. “Girls, this is Lou.” “Lou, these are girls.”
@rh3713 That`s STILL! funny.
There will never be another Rodney, he was the best !
You got that right.
I agree, even better than Caddy Shack. Rodney wasn't in that movie enough.
Burt Young was so great in this film... understated toughness
@williamwalter4992 Played in the ROCKEY films with SLY & TALIA.
"You got a problem"
"My two boys? One I put through college, the other I put through a wall."
Robert Downey Junior in his finest role.
All these years later and I still laugh hysterically when watching this film. Hard to believe that the actors playing the college kids are in their late 50s and early 60s now.
@steve2474 Not really considering they`re born in the 1960`s. As am I. 1963.
I was 4 years old when this came out, but I grew up with my parents watching this movie. It wasn't until I was in high school that I understood most of the jokes lol. This is absolutely a classic that I love, and my daughter is now a sophomore in college at the same college I attended. Such a great movie!!!
@@kristinasymonsSame here. I was 7 in 86. And watched it dozens of times as a kid. It was even better as a adult. Like you said. Because nothing flies over your head now. So its even funnier
My friend, who never went to college when his daughter was about to head out herself I had them both watch this with me. A great piece to see again in my late 50s
Best line? "Thank You, Dean Martin."
@ChefDuane NED BEATTY.
I miss movies like this. It's too bad they don't make them like that anymore.
Because lib-tards are so easily offended.

@@jeffreyball6618 same here but where are they going to get Rodney Dangerfield, John Candy, and Chris Farley ? These 3 icons had their fair share of movies from 1978-1998.
LOVE this movie!!!
When she said I do, I should have said with who? 🤣🤣🤣
This film never gets old...a true classic RIP Rodney Dangerfield.
One of my favorite movies starring Rodney Dangerfield 😂😂😂
Fun fact: Rodney actually was a high diver on the AC boardwalk when he was younger. The Triple Lindy is a myth.
Nah, she grew up and got maried, now she's a mythes. Sorry, had too
It's not a myth if you believe it. 🙂
@jeepanimal2943 And I'm a mythter. Sorry, had to too
@@LughnersonCase in point: Name an organized religion.
Ironically, all generations after Gen X took his advice.
RIP Rodney Dangerfield
Where is the Kurt Vonnegut scene?? Still one of the best cameo scenes in movie history.
@marknapiorkowski It`s here somewhere on KZhead. How `bout DEAN MARTIN played by NED BEATTY?! Uh take on the real DEAN MARTIN of RAT PACK fame.
One of the greatest movies ever. God bless Rodney
CALL ME WHEN U HAVE NO CLASS
Cinematic masterpiece!! 😆 RIP Rodney
Best Scene: Trendy Man: Mr. Melon, your wife was just showing us her Klimt. Thornton Melon: You too, huh? She's shown it to everybody. Trendy Man: Well, she's very proud of it. Thornton Melon: I'm proud of mine too. I don't go waving it around at parties, though. Trendy Man: It's an exceptional painting. Thornton Melon: Oh, the painting.
When I get upset, he gets physical 🤣🤣🤣
"You got a problem" 😆
Paulie from the Rocky Films :)
"I tell ya, i hate small food ya know" 👌😆
I still think this movie is hysterical
Triple Lindy was the greatest dive of all-time. Perfect 10!
No doubtt this is in the top 10 of comedies of the 80's. You dont realize how great it is untill your living during these times😂
Rodney Dangerfield greatest comedian who ever lived
I remember going with my brother and nephew to see this and the theater was packed. Such a great time and thankfully the theater is still in business. Something you can't say about a lot of places.
Chewie316 Ah, the 80`s & multiplex SHOPPING MALLS complete with games & video arcades. Life was better when it was a PORKYS movie.
Rest in Peace Mr. Young
this was a classic the moment it came out
this movie made me laugh from beginning to end.
Nothing's cooler than seen a young Robert Downey Jr 👍🏾😎
Or seeing him..👌🏻
@gokugoma3258 DEREK LUTZ. The 80`s was chock full of teen flix. re: MOLLY RINGWALD.
Ah a young Robert Downey Jr,aka Ironman and a young Terry Ferrell aka Jadzia Dax... And kid in Movie Named Christine.... The old days,no green screen
oh yeah forgot he was in Christine,, that Dreaded car with its own mind LOL ,,, HERBIE THE LOVE BUG's EVIL COUSIN LOL
Gotta love Rodney, what a guy. Don't know what kinda guy. But he was a guy.
Too bad he got no respect.
I still using the phrase "how about fantasy land?"
They left that out that was the best scene of the whole movie
Absolutely the best movie he ever made!
Caddyshack
@@coreyboldt9604 that was good too. I just liked Back To School more.
@@kevinamsteam7816 Oh I love Back to School too, caddyshack is just my favorite.
Back to school v Caddy shack, that's a tough one
Caddieshack one of the best spoofs of all time
One of the funniest movies ever!
1:30 "Hey that's Bryant in Blade Runner! Deckerd: "No choice, huh?" Bryant: "No choice pal."
I was in grade 10 in Winnipeg Canada and it was a summer film. Bunch of us boys watched it and couldn’t stop laughing. I also bought a Bjorn Borg poster that summer, I remember
Two of my favorites. This movie and Bjorn Borg. I even had a Borg tennis racket.
"and remember..the best part about kids..is making them" 😅😅
What a great flick! “It’s rough out there”
My Favorite 80's Movie
2:42 the funniest line in the movie.
Back 🔙 To School 🏫 (1986) happened on the month 🗓️ of August.
Happy Birthday Robert Downey, Jr ! Continue RIHP Rodney Dangerfield!
3:47 I wish someone would’ve made that speech at my high school graduation😂
It's too bad Rodney was middle aged before he hit the big screen. I'm sure he would've been a great comedic foil for guys the likes of John Wayne, Burt Reynolds, Cary Grant and Clint Eastwood.
but rodney was such a great comedian in clubs,, his one liners were always right on par
@joshuabrooks4907 I tell ya, RODNEY dont get 'NO RESPECT!" I tell ya.
@@johnniec2861 Only RODNEYS DOCTOR! stood by him. U know his doctor, Dr. VINNY BOOM BOTTS.
Thank you for the video!😜👍♥ I hope you have a great happy new year! ♥
Triple Lindy!!
Great show RIP Rodney👌🥲🙏
"Does anyone remember laughter?" - Robert Plant
MVP Rodney Dangerfield
What do people almost forget Rodney Dangerfield made Miller light famous
Burt Young is Great in this movie
such a great movie.
Missing the 'no class' and the Kurt Vonnegut scenes....
Very funny material 😄 🤣
Why don't you call me when you....have no class.
F&^% I saw this in theaters when I was 16 and didn't remember Robert Downey Jr was in it lol!
Awesome movie 👍
ahahahahahaha, Thornton Melon.
"Offelia hold some of my calls"
Twist n shout
SAY IT!!! SAAAAAY IT!!!!
They skipped the best part. The kid comes back to his dorm and his rich, old man has put in a new hot tub. So the kids givin old boy the gears and Rodney, who's sitting in the tub says; you can't have a hot tub without a little bubbles. THEN he calls for bubbles who's a drop dead, georgous blond in a bikini to join him in the tub...hilarious
best part of the whole movie for sure
So you know poetry? How'd you like to help me straighten out my Longfellow?
@@briancooke2546 I don't poetry but I know how to fist fight so beat it you goof...
@@williamtobin7282 take it easy, Balboa, it's a line from the same hot tub scene. I'm not inviting myself over.
The best scene was when author Kurt Vonnegut shows up to help him write his English term paper on Kurt Vonnegut.
Tony Stark and Jadzia Dax
Great college comedy 😁😁😁😁😁🤣😆😁🤣 movie 📚🎓
Hey ist that Arnie ? Arnie Cuntingham?
Tony Stark - the College Years.
Is that your real hair? He says this while wearing the Shatner 9000 magic carpet. Better lines they left out: How'd you like to straighten out my Longfellow? I learned this in Europe. Here, hold my sandwich. Watch my sandwich.
"I tell ya I hate small food ya know" 😆
Funniest moments? How about the whole. movie?
Bruce at burning man
Ironman meets rocky
You guys are high , The best part is when the professor tries to tell him about running a business , At this point just delete this one and add the other
As an adult, I don't think the business professor was really a bad guy. Sure he was corny with his girlfriend, but he was honest and willing to commit. Thornton cheated to get in and his new girlfriend dropped her boyfriend after the tutoring session.
👍🏾
Does not include funniest line when he answers test of 27 parts saying 4???
It seems as all the kids today must have seen this film and moved back it with their parents.
I didn't move back in with my parents until I was in my 40's, @ssh0le.
aaaaand that was the '80s............
"It's rough out there, move in with your parents! Let them worry about it!" Advice, the "Snowflake" generation, has taken to heart!
OK, boomer. your generation completely obliterated the environment; you inherited a rich, dynamic country and have gradually bankrupted it; you habitually cut your own taxes and borrowed money without any concern for future burdens; you spent virtually all our money and assets on yourselves and in the process have left a financial disaster for future generations; and you allowed the public education system to degrade, forcing middle-class students to bury themselves in debt in order to get a college education. and you have the gall to complain about the "snowflake" generation? foh clown.
Nah, the snowflakes never moved out lol

These aren't the funniest moments
Ugh, but watching a movie with a bunch old people thinking their comedians (no offense) is not entertainment.
there were some ones SAM KINISON was an active comedian at the time
Grammar… learn it.
I hated this movie.
