It's a bit of both, I've noticed. For everything but grabs and certain spells, the hitboxes are ludicriously precise.

@@sudanemamimikiki1527 Nah, DS2's main flaw was lag comp. Considering you could literally do emotes to avoid hits in DS2, I'd say most hitboxes were very precise.

@@sudanemamimikiki1527 I meant that you can literally do an emote that moves your character an inch and It'll cause an attack to miss by that space. Also It's not hidden, and that's not the hitboxes being weird, that's just an interraction between the I-Frame count and lingering hitboxes. If you were hit when the game registered you as being hit, even if .1 second later you enter an animation and seemingly roll out of the way, it just delays the hit until you stand back up. This mostly has to do with the fact that IFrames basically work by making you immune to stagger and damage for the duration.

@@JagEterCoola The emotes are insignificant, ds2 is full of horrible hitboxes, you just need to recommend a youtube one so that you can see many nostalgic hitboxes about why the game was and is considered the worst souls.

It was my original plan for this hiatus to only last a couple of months, but i'm just not able to make videos in the short amount of free time i actually have. That and i can't use adobe premier for some time, due to payment issues. I have a lot of videos planned, but it's impossible for me to make any of them atm. At best i'll be back around june or july, but its not certain.

ax2323 If people start throwing money at me, then making these videos would no longer be a hobby, but a job. If people really want to give me money for making videos, then i'm genuinely honoured. But i don't want to stress about making videos as if it was an actual job.

Indeed. With that short of a drop you have to start the plunge attack immediately or land behind the enemy. He started it too late and so body impacted the enemy during the drawback of the swing. That pushed him to the side so that when the actual strike begins, he whiffs it.

It isnt even hitboxes if you slow the video down you can see by the time the drop attack activates fully he pushes the wizard out if the way. and it misses
