Nice video, not sure what happened at the end, obviously you used 10a discharge wires for a 100a bms which was a bit silly, but what shorted out? Also you should have a probe each side of the slot in the nickel to spot weld - they are there to force the current through the battery(not just the nickel)

- Me too not sure what’s happened 😅. Anyway, I used a low gauge cable and I replace it with better one in an enhancement video for the same project. Thanks for your feedback

- What I can imagine is, he is holding that bzel with negative and positive terminals outside. negative terminal is already connected and is pointing downwards while he is trying to route cable through the positive terminal. I guess he touched with negative terminal a positively charged place on naked BMS.

- or, the other way around. It is actually negative terminal he is connecting.

- Repairing lithium battery pack could be done by replacing the cells with new. There’s many tricks to refurbish/getting them alive back lithium cells but be careful as that’s risky

- I agree with you, insulation paper used to isolate the nickel strips, Thanks for correcting me. Batteries and bms both are Chinese and need to do test on your own as I mentioned in the video. Anyway it’s working and FYI this battery around 1600mah only 😄
