    • @@robertagilbert12345 It depends on what type of mold it is. To be safe, you really need an inspection done. For every bit of mold you see, there is usually way more that you don't. If it's black mold.... that's costly. It's toxic to humans and pets.

  • I was a mirror mechanic (glazier) and had an eccentric millionaire customer who owned a suite in an apartment building in NYC. She wanted every wall and table tops covered in mirror's and if it wasn't able to, it was either colored yellow or wrapped in tin foil. She had her phone book wrapped in it!   • I’m not sure how many Cats are in your house. Guessing 20+ at least and every single one of them have on tin foil boots ,hats ,glasses and vests. Your video also inspired me when I forgot my bathing suit on a business trip so I went to the dollar store, got tin foil and made a tin foil speedo.     • Aluminum is highly toxic to our brains...it is found in the brains of dementia and Alzheimer's patients. There is a famous study involving nuns in a convent who all got dementia and had high levels of aluminum in their brains They had cooked using aluminum foil for 30 plus years. If you handle it, wear gloves; don't cover your tooth brushes, don't use it for cooking, don't cook with aluminum pans. You can find ways ways to cook without it. You can research the truth about its toxicity to our brains.

    • I know, right? Seriously, though, who the hell wants aluminum foiled wrapped around everything in your house? You have this decorative little dish with some trite text like, "Grateful" and then you stick a folded up piece of aluminum in there--what's the point? If you're going to have this unsightly wad of aluminum foil, then just fold up the sides of the foil to form a bowl shape and get rid of the dish entirely. Then you don't have to wash it at all, just tear-off a new piece of aluminum every few days.

  • I watched this and now my family use aluminium foil as toilet paper. It scrapes of much better and since alu doesn't soak like ordinary paper it can be used on both sides. I also sanitize every used one with colon every day so my family allways have fresh alu wipes. Im also planning to remove the toilets and start filter urin for reuse and make fertilizer to grow more aluminum in the garden. Thanks Andrea!👋

He used to use foil to line everything: kitchen drawers, cabinet shelves, stove burner drip trays, cutting boards, organization racks, medicine bottles, cardboard doodads.   • Cut a large rectangle of foil. A ruler or measuring tape may be helpful. Fold in to a square. Very carefully fold over the two opposite open edges to seal them together to form a pouch. The foil pouch works perfectly to store all my ziplock bags! It can hold up to a gallon-sized bags, or as small as sandwich-size. I love it!

When I was a child, 1970's we went to my grandma's house for xmas and they ran out of wrapping paper and they really did use foil, and news paper but it was the foil that I for some reason locked a memory in my brain. Have never forgot that. I was only about 6yrs old. I really had no idea what foil was but it just stuck with me. I think about that every year at xmas when I start to wrap gifts.

  • Hi Andrea. First time here and I will now be checking in at least every couple of days. I will be 70 in April and I still love learning. How to do things have changed over the years. I want to let you know in regards to traveling with jewelry, I have found that straws work the best. For your necklaces and bracelets, the straws can be cut to fit each piece & be used again. Just slip half of the necklace through the straw till it comes out of the other end and clasp the two ends together. I have never had any to get tangled while traveling.   • I made an entire couch out of foil. Its not super comfortable but it is very light and reflects a lot of sunlight so we dont have to use any lights during the day. Next up is ripping out our old shower and replacing with a foil one. Keep you posted!

  • Andrea lives in my neighborhood and we all thought “Can’t hide money” because EVERYTHING she owns is silver plated. Babystroller, her shoes, kids balls, etc. Now we know she’s just thrifty and wraps it all in aluminum foil.
