I'm not really a fan of exo but chen is one of the vocalists that I really like especially when he sings drama OSTs. I really know what it felt like to be a fan because I am also a fan but a different group.
You can be a casual fan /fan of him without being his group fan. I was fan of his before I even start listening to EXO , so I can tell Its not much different as a group fan or solo fan (maybe different how you persue the artist whether he is your favorite ,you are just a casual fan etc..)
