Thanks for sharing. Now I wish I have a high definition tv in my apartment, and would keep this playing often. For better quality of life...me, birds, and dog. Fountain with clear running water has beautiful background of planted flowered and nature's arboretum. But I only have a cell phone screen to watch/hear this 😐 Still this is real joyful 🙂

This was so relaxing and enjoyable! I love birds so this was wonderful!! Thank you!! I have a shallow water bowl out by my feeders, and I love watching the birds , but I want to get a "bird bath" with a small fountain, I know they would like that much more!!

My cat watches as I read. This is the 2nd time I’ve seen that white dog visit the fountain and I love him. This is the best cat video, the many different birds, the fluttering sounds, the colors…. well done . I live on the water but I much prefer a wooded area, you’re fortunate to have such a piece of paradise. ✌️🇺🇸
That's Joey the Running Dog, who doesn't run much anymore since he's 13-15 years old. I would REALLY like to live near water with also more woods... like a mountain-forest-lake, is that a real thing? Anyways, thanks for the comment and for letting Looie watch the birds!

Thank you for this video as it is the only one my cat will watch while getting his breathing treatments. It is calming and runs at the purrfect speed. The cat videos out there are chaotic and just too over stimulating. Today, I found myself letting this play in background all day, without my cat watching, due to the calming effects. So so wonderful. What would life be without birds? Where do you purchase a fountain bird bath?
I wrote up a little more about the setup here lensmyth.com/cat-tv-9/ This birdbath is just from Lowe's, for just the Birdbath Bowl part it's only $17 and to add a fountain there's some options like putting an all-in-one solar fountain in amzn.to/3ivhwfp (My amazon affiliate link) or using a small submersible aquarium pump which is a little trickier or for the short term, connecting a small drip sprinkler to your garden hose.
Stumbled across this video as I watch something like this every single day, I have cats and they really enjoy this video. But so did I. I had to laugh out loud when at the 5:02 mark the dog gets a drink. Lol. He looks like a big dog in the video, but when you look closer I’m sure he’s not more than 10 inches off the ground in real life. Is there a stoop that he standing on? Adorable. Thank for this. I had a yard that looked very similar but I lost it due to coronavirus and ended up having to move into a condominium, I’m on the water but I don’t have this kind of land in these birds to look at every day anymore. So, you’re doing good work out there.
Thanks! I have a little bit of land but it's terribly close to roads and airports and a military base so there's plenty of racket! The dog (and sometimes the neighbor dogs) can easily get to the birdbath since it is sitting on ground. Once I took it off the pedestal the birds were much more comfortable approaching and using it.
@@LensMyth Oh that’s funny about the neighbor’s dog. I wonder if you’re close to Mildenhall or Lakenheath? I used to do military charter flying from the US and spent a lot of time there. That’s why I love watching your videos and these kind so much. Yes, I also live/d in a very crowded area or county in Florida that has all the beautiful beaches so my backyard can look like a sanctuary, and yet if you listen carefully enough you’re going to hear sirens and all sorts of things. But it’s all what you make of it, isn’t it.☺️

I don’t know why but I just assumed that you were in England. A lot of these videos I’ve seen and turned my mom on to, are almost always the UK. You’ve done a good job on these videos. My mom has a cat who can watch these videos for hours. My cats are from Sicily and our last house had over 70 - 80 birds, squirrels, raccoons, opossum, so I can’t fool them. Well done, though.

I put a small aquarium pump in a barrel of water. Then I've attached it to 1/4 inch tubing from my drip irrigation pointed at the bath. The splashing really helps them find it but the noise takes away from the bird chirping a bit. If you want to use tap water, you can hook it right up to the garden hose!

RIP Finley... Drip irrigation is awesome. It's just a tiny tube that you can run all over your yard and it connects to your hose faucet/spigot. Yo my cat be pawing the screen like mad, and skipping ten seconds, but mainly, she slapped the mic of my iPad when the birds tweeted, which was very funny. Thank u for this vid 🐈⬛
Yes! Haha it's great how they can know where the sounds coming from, the surround sound speakers I have confuse my cat. I have to move the speaker behind the screen so she'll not get distracted
