  • I am 81yrs now, not sure how much time I have left. My 1st Duty in the Navy 1961 was the USS Radford DDE-446, Sister Ship of the USS Fletcher DD-445. Living Conditions were horrible cramped, but they were Fighting Ships.. Not luxury liners. I went on and served on the other 2 types of WW2 Destroyer Classes- Sumner & Gearing Class. You had to be tough, strong and dedicated. I was a Signalman, Visual Communications. Now I have Prostate Cancer fm Agent orange in Vietnam. GOD Bless us all. We were Warriors once and young. Honor and Respect your Veterans.
