I agree. I really don't like the way she behaves in her current performances and I'm not fond of some of her songs that I've heard (to be honest, I haven't heard that many). But in interviews she seems to have a much more mature state of mind. Like the way she said she's getting through the break-up, accepting it, and moving on is a very mature way to go about it. And I also found it to be very interesting, and actually a really good idea, how she talked about asking people for lists of their favorite things. For a while I was completely against Miley because of her behavior, but I'm kindof getting mixed feelings about her now. If her performances now are only to gain more money and publicity, I can't say I respect that, because I think that method seems fake and a little like selling out. If she's just trying to get rid of the Hannah Montana image and find herself, I definitely get that but I think she's going overboard

I think you forget that she has a whole team behind her that helps her do that...every celebrity does from publicists to managers etc. what she does is how people judge her because that's the only way we know her. Maybe she is really smart marketing herself because all the crazy stuff shes done recently has gotten her to be recurrence in conversation. I love Miley, she's always so real and honest in any interview she does and I just hate how many people are losing respect for her on how she was at the VMAS and her hair, that's just judging way too soon. its strange because when i bought mileys album it was whilst i was going through such a hard time with a guy that id broken up with and this album relates so much to me and my past. Some of the songs ill listen to now theyll break my heart and others will make me realise its okay to not be okay because although you are a changed person and that person is also a changed person, youre still you. you dont have to be anybody for anyone else. i wish more people realised that and more people forgave and forgot.. I love you Miley

The way she speaks I can tell that she isn't another hollywood scarlet on the wild-she has given some thought to the things she has done and she trying to enjoy herself. It may outrageous but I think theres more meaning behind her behavior than that.

I think people need to stop judging this girl and calling her a whore. Miley is doing her thing and she is growing up. She isn't Hannah anymore and people need to stop being blinded by that. Beyonce has more risky material than Miley's stuff, and she doesn't get half the crap that Miley does. We shouldn't pick and choose when it comes to celeb's behaviour.

I agree. I really don't like the way she behaves in her current performances and I'm not fond of some of her songs that I've heard (to be honest, I haven't heard that many). But in interviews she seems to have a much more mature state of mind. Like the way she said she's getting through the break-up, accepting it, and moving on is a very mature way to go about it. And I also found it to be very interesting, and actually a really good idea, how she talked about asking people for lists of their favorite things. For a while I was completely against Miley because of her behavior, but I'm kindof getting mixed feelings about her now. If her performances now are only to gain more money and publicity, I can't say I respect that, because I think that method seems fake and a little like selling out. If she's just trying to get rid of the Hannah Montana image and find herself, I definitely get that but I think she's going overboard

I know that, marketing-wise, her performances and racy music videos are a good move, but this make me so sad/angry because I think that she could be more than that, she has a good voice and wouldn't need to go around naked to gain visibility. I think you forget that she has a whole team behind her that helps her do that...every celebrity does from publicists to managers etc. what she does is how people judge her because that's the only way we know her. I just love her, she knows who she is and where she wants to go and I think that is a very admirable trait in anyone, no matter their age.
I'm so torn with this Miley. Behind the scenes she seems so genuine, she really does. But it's such a juxtaposition with the message she sends out onstage and in her career. There's too much of a disconnect. I hope she eventually finds a happy medium between the two.
