Despite other people praising you for the edits in this video, I’d like to give another perspective on that. Some edits are good. For an example, the one where you list the people who died (9:15) added to the joke. However, I get the impression that you are editing in text for the sake of editing. Like adding “Me too” is more distracting than funny and doesn’t add to the joke. Anyways, great job, the video is nice in general, I understand that it took you great effort to find and compile all these specific moments.
So I should add to the jokes already there instead of trying to make my own?
@@Aviaidan The point is that this is a compilation. It's not a commentary to the video. Adding in texts is unecessary and distracting. But yes, small edits that adds to the joke could make it better though. Anyway I'm not here to tell you what to do and what not to do, it's just some viewer advice.
See, that’s where I’m conflicted. If I just put the clips together like a normal compilation, people say I’m just leeching subs. If I add my own text/commentary/edits, people think that’s annoying. I have no middle ground.
RandomHumanYT It’s of course impossible to suit everyone but saying that you’re leeching subs is just false. Sometimes you might just have to ignore some comments that don’t seem to come with any constructive criticism like those you mentioned.
