Temperence and Guidry can't be raised by normal means, they have a specific "guidry" and "temperence" trait that can only be removed with cheats.

@@karolinabaranska6314 when you have off the grid appliances when you’re not off the grid it still shows your water and power usage as a pop up for some reason. i had that issue when i played horse ranch and it never went away until i got rid of my solar panels and water tubs

I used to exploit Patchy as an In-House babysitting service when Seasons first came out. I think they've made it harder since then but while it lasted it was awesome. Force the toddlers to develop a relationship with the scarecrow and then it's like: You want food? Ask Patchy. You want mentoring on the blocks? Ask Patchy. You want someone to help with homework? Ask Patchy. I miss those days.

He can only get patchy if he has plants though. Simsie tried without plants and he never came to life… unless that was a glitch. 😂 so he’ll wanna start a garden first. Perhaps plants helpful for spell casting

Since you get so many points from the Haunted House trait and Pelham is on his way out you should get Free Services and hire a Nanny and/or a Butler (you have the extra beds) to take care of the kids and such

I like that because then it’s both a challenge and a reward. Perhaps like “spend at least $5000 to fully renovate a room” - monetary challenge + benefits of having a nice room to reward for checking the box.

Just a quick tip: when Sims are nauseous because of the lot challenge (grody i think?) if tou make them throw up the moodlet disappears immediately. Or at least it's always my case... So no more "Very uncomfortable" mood because of it 😏 (although it does mean you have to clean up afterwards...)

the only problem with that is even cleaning the toilet has a chance to pop the nauseous debuff. i've had sims in a constant loop of being sick, tossing up, cleaning the toilet, then getting sick *again* immediately after. thank god for scruberoo, what a lifesaver

The 'trash' in your inventory wasn't trash. It's compost. With reduce and recycle lot trait, you can separate compost and recycle materials from outdoor bin, they will turn up in your inventory, click on them and you'll get bits and pieces, for your water generator for example. It's actually really usefull thing.

When the kids age up to toddlers, I think they can grab food from the cauldron. If not, they definitely can from the get to work bakery displays (there is one that works like a fridge). Like that you'll have less hassle with keeping them fed as they can just handle that themselves.

When you try for the Night Wraith remember to get and summon your Familiar before using any magic so that you don't die from the overloads (which might be many - sometimes I get it quickly, and for this challenge it took forever).

Instead of using the regular "Cook" interaction to make 8 grilled cheeses, you should use "Cook together with..." to make 12 grilled cheeses as well as gain friendship!

I WAS SO CONFUSED ROFL cuz you cut in spinning the wheel for the cowplant and first i was like "why is there snow in the background" and then "why is he still off the grid wtf" XD XD the potion of forced friendship is so good, vlad hated one of my sims until she used the potion and it completely filled up the friendship bar. it was all red before and then poof! nothing but green. (jsyk you need to drink it first then use the prompt from the dialogue menu "force friendship" or whatever on the sim you want to befriend). also you should totally sell that cowplant. it'll get you about 475 simoleons and you wont have to deal with keeping it alive anymore

If you want to complete the puffer fish nigiri challenge, visit any of the San Myshuno lots and check the food stands (the food stands change daily iirc so check them every day) for the puffer fish, order one and have your sim eat it and you're done with that challenge! They will usually survive the first time they eat it and then afterwards they'll know how to cook it also. As a warning, don't let your sim cook it and serve it while in a bad mood.

You definitely made a good choice putting Rent to Riches on hold. We could see how frustrated you were getting and when it's not fun for you, it's not fun to watch. For your sanity alone it was a good a idea to pause. Hopefully they'll fix the worst of the bugs soon. In the meantime, I'm loving this series, so there's no rush to get back to the Bigwallets. The "Every Lot Challenge" Challenge was a blast to watch last time, and it's the same this time. I like the set up you've chosen for removing the challenges this time around, especially the possible negatives on the wheel too! The chaos is wonderful :D

I used the potion of forced friendship to become friends with Vlad, it was poor quality so instead we became insta-lovers, he proposed, we got married and pregnant, he almost died of hysteria and then immediately died from the sun after I pleaded with the grim reaper. So that was a wild ride. No vampire twins, unfortunately, only one spellcaster baby that is eerily pale.

The Cursed trait means that you're more likely to start a kitchen fire - they tuned this recently because it used to cause a fire EVERY TIME, now it seems to just be sometimes. I think it causes items to malfunction/break more often too.

Tbh I enjoy the added challenges, when I was getting ready the other day and you rolled the owe $5,000 I went “OH MY GOSH NOOO!!! JAMES!!” 🤣😂 I enjoy the Bigwallet series but with so many bugs it was kinda hard to watch because it felt stressful as a viewer to watch you struggle and not in the fun challenge way but a genuine why isn’t this working like it should way

You should probably get Patchy and bring him to life. He’ll help out around the house and with the kids. Could be handy at after mister Hannah dies, though you could also just bring him back to life.

He can only get patchy if he has plants though. Simsie tried without plants and he never came to life… unless that was a glitch. 😂 so he’ll wanna start a garden first. Perhaps plants helpful for spell casting

Since you get so many points from the Haunted House trait and Pelham is on his way out you should get Free Services and hire a Nanny and/or a Butler (you have the extra beds) to take care of the kids and such
And idea for an added challenge on the wheel: redecorate a room. You have to fix it up and replace appliances, wallpaper, remove cracks, etc
I like that because then it’s both a challenge and a reward. Perhaps like “spend at least $5000 to fully renovate a room” - monetary challenge + benefits of having a nice room to reward for checking the box.
Don’t listen to the people saying to stop adding challenges, that’s the funniest part
Just a quick tip: when Sims are nauseous because of the lot challenge (grody i think?) if tou make them throw up the moodlet disappears immediately. Or at least it's always my case... So no more "Very uncomfortable" mood because of it 😏 (although it does mean you have to clean up afterwards...)
you can also click on your Sim and click "breathe deeply" and that helps with the moodlet.

the only problem with that is even cleaning the toilet has a chance to pop the nauseous debuff. i've had sims in a constant loop of being sick, tossing up, cleaning the toilet, then getting sick *again* immediately after. thank god for scruberoo, what a lifesaver

The 'trash' in your inventory wasn't trash. It's compost. With reduce and recycle lot trait, you can separate compost and recycle materials from outdoor bin, they will turn up in your inventory, click on them and you'll get bits and pieces, for your water generator for example. It's actually really usefull thing.

When the kids age up to toddlers, I think they can grab food from the cauldron. If not, they definitely can from the get to work bakery displays (there is one that works like a fridge). Like that you'll have less hassle with keeping them fed as they can just handle that themselves.
You could also put a grilled cheese in your pocket then eat it in space from a festival.

When you try for the Night Wraith remember to get and summon your Familiar before using any magic so that you don't die from the overloads (which might be many - sometimes I get it quickly, and for this challenge it took forever).
Yeah, I just embraced being a ghost. At least you can't die twice.😅
the familiar doesnt work 100% of the time. i've died multiple times to overload while my familiar was out and i've only had it save me once.

Instead of using the regular "Cook" interaction to make 8 grilled cheeses, you should use "Cook together with..." to make 12 grilled cheeses as well as gain friendship!
I love watching this series. I look forward to the next part posting and search for it each time I get on KZhead. This helps mix up Sims besides the basic story and is funny to watch. I hope it last several several episodes!

I WAS SO CONFUSED ROFL cuz you cut in spinning the wheel for the cowplant and first i was like "why is there snow in the background" and then "why is he still off the grid wtf" XD XD the potion of forced friendship is so good, vlad hated one of my sims until she used the potion and it completely filled up the friendship bar. it was all red before and then poof! nothing but green. (jsyk you need to drink it first then use the prompt from the dialogue menu "force friendship" or whatever on the sim you want to befriend). also you should totally sell that cowplant. it'll get you about 475 simoleons and you wont have to deal with keeping it alive anymore

If you want to complete the puffer fish nigiri challenge, visit any of the San Myshuno lots and check the food stands (the food stands change daily iirc so check them every day) for the puffer fish, order one and have your sim eat it and you're done with that challenge! They will usually survive the first time they eat it and then afterwards they'll know how to cook it also. As a warning, don't let your sim cook it and serve it while in a bad mood.

You definitely made a good choice putting Rent to Riches on hold. We could see how frustrated you were getting and when it's not fun for you, it's not fun to watch. For your sanity alone it was a good a idea to pause. Hopefully they'll fix the worst of the bugs soon. In the meantime, I'm loving this series, so there's no rush to get back to the Bigwallets. The "Every Lot Challenge" Challenge was a blast to watch last time, and it's the same this time. I like the set up you've chosen for removing the challenges this time around, especially the possible negatives on the wheel too! The chaos is wonderful :D

I remember in the first every lot challenge series, the quake zone was so much more of a problem and it hasn't really done much this time
You could always start a cleaning/repair etc club to help out sometimes.
Every baby that gets an infant, toddler, and child perk (separately) should count as a challenge completed.
I used the potion of forced friendship to become friends with Vlad, it was poor quality so instead we became insta-lovers, he proposed, we got married and pregnant, he almost died of hysteria and then immediately died from the sun after I pleaded with the grim reaper. So that was a wild ride. No vampire twins, unfortunately, only one spellcaster baby that is eerily pale.
I am actually loving this series way more than the "Rent" one.. seems like you are also having a lot of fun with this every lot challenge. thanks James!
If Peblem dies you can bring them back and check that of the list and get the bonus of having someone to take care of the toddlers.

The Cursed trait means that you're more likely to start a kitchen fire - they tuned this recently because it used to cause a fire EVERY TIME, now it seems to just be sometimes. I think it causes items to malfunction/break more often too.
Definitely enjoying you adding more challenges to this because otherwise it would just end up becoming a more generic playthrough halfway in with no more entertaining pitfalls

Tbh I enjoy the added challenges, when I was getting ready the other day and you rolled the owe $5,000 I went “OH MY GOSH NOOO!!! JAMES!!” 🤣😂 I enjoy the Bigwallet series but with so many bugs it was kinda hard to watch because it felt stressful as a viewer to watch you struggle and not in the fun challenge way but a genuine why isn’t this working like it should way
