Room Makeover | changing mood by moving all the furniture in Japanese living alone room VLOG

This is a VLOG from a holiday where I moved all the furniture in my room, redecorated and cleaned.
I like redecorating because it gives me a fresh start 🤭.
I traveled to Kyoto to see the Gion Festival.
I was nervous to go to Kyoto, but it was a great experience.

▶ABOUT NAMI NO KURASHI
I'm Nami, living alone in Tokyo.
The Japanese pronunciation "Nami" has several meanings.
One Nami is a girl's name, and the other Nami means ordinary.
Naminokurashi(Nami's life) is a combination of these two meanings.
Kurashi means daily life.
I don't have any special skills. My life is ordinary days.
I hope you enjoy my ordinary days!

  • I still remember at the beginning of Covid, KZhead kept pushing a vlog from 'an office worker in Japan'. I thought 'why would that interest me?' Wow, was I wrong. Your vlogs gave joy in the tough times, have taught so much, and inspired me! I am an old woman who takes great joy in watching your young life unfold. Peace, Nami!

  • Have you considered turning the bed 90 degrees so the headboard is against the wall and the bed is sticking out into the room? The bookshelf would be on your left and you cold put your bedside table on the right near the doorway. It would allow you to get into the room and would have better Feng Shui. Try it❤

(Proverbs 28:13) If you want to know the intricacies of a subject, the best thing to do is find an expert, someone who has far-reaching experience with it. Although David is rightfully known as one of the greatest saints in Scripture, identified uniquely as the man after God’s own heart, he is also known as one of the greatest sinners in Scripture. On one hand, we remember him for his heroic exploits and tender heart toward God and others. On the other hand, we remember him for his sin of adultery with Bathsheba as well as his sin of murder in an attempt to cover it up. Clearly, he had missed the mark. Clearly, he had had fallen short of the law’s demands. As a result, his life became crooked and twisted, and he reaped the results of his sins. But God also gave David a second chance. In Psalm 32 he wrote, “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!” (verse 1). David was speaking of what God had done for him. Then in verses 3 and 4, David described the futility and misery of unconfessed sin: “When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat” It’s miserable to live in unconfessed sin. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, “People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy” We can’t put sin in a compartment and think that’s the end of it. Sin stinks. Its stench will permeate everything and mess up every aspect of our lives. That is why it needs to be dealt with.

When I would have a bad day, I would watch your videos to show me that no matter how bad the day may seem, the gift of life, love and family make the journey so well enjoyed. Though life takes us on a journey, having that sweet light to look forward to is the gift given.

  • Ohayo Nami! I love your green and white dishware! Thanks for the video. Whenever I clean, I think of you and how thorough you are! It really helps motivate me. We had to move from a house into a two-bedroom apartment which is challenging because of the loss of space. FYI: We moved about the same time as you! Your videos with cleaning and organizing really help me face those spatial challenges. Thanks for posting!

  • When you redecorated, you reminded me of when I was still home with my mother many years ago. Once every few months we would take our whole apartment apart and deep clean everything and change it around. It felt so satisfying when we were finished. Now I deep clean once a week but mostly leave everything the same. My husband gets confused when I change things around.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Nothing is too good for you Nami. Glad you treated yourself to that beautiful Ritz Carlton.
