Some of the artillery systems being sent to Ukraine have been on show in Denmark as part of a huge US exercise.
Dozens of nations have taken part in Dynamic Front 23, examining how they would launch a barrage of firepower against an enemy nation.
It is one of the largest and most complex live-fire exercises ever held in the country and the exercise took place in the vast Oksbøl training area on Denmark's west coast.

Artillery being used correctly along with an English accent being heard clearly over the radio, this is a thing of outstanding beauty
Why do you give a s**t if it’s “an English accent” - you know what… I would rather hear a Scandinavian accent
Henry Shrapnel would be proud
weirdo
Good to see the old Oksbøl terrain; spent many a nights out there in the mud as well as the operations exercise center.
Another awesome report. Thank you. Keep up the excellent work.
There isn't enough thank yous that you could give to these very special men and woman that serve 👍👌👌👍
Wow, the Brits still using those Wolf chassis Landrovers, I worked on these conversions circa late 1990's - and there're still going!
There are a few left in service but thr majority were sold.
Russia redeployed tanks from 1953 last week, i guess a lot of equipment NATO use is old but not Russian old haha!
@@BobZombie well 1953 is russian-old. but the difference is, nato still has a lot of stuff more modern than that, russia is mostly running dry above anything from the 70s+
Australian Defence Force has sold off most, if not all, their Land Rover 110 County's by now. But those things are absolutely indestructible. Most of their engines just get rebuilt time and time again if/when needed but they just keep going.
To the men, women who stand the line for freedom and against slavery every single day, may you find peace instead of war. May you find those who take up sword after you have served your time, as capable to protect you and you have protected me and mine. Remember those who didn't come home with us.
Finally AS-90 gets to show itself in battle. It's one hell of a system. If the Ukrainians are able to integrate the networking to their own systems (and I'm sure they are) it'll be a real step up in mobility and firepower. 3 rounds in 10 seconds with amazing accuracy - the Russians are going to hate it.
Russian soldiers can only dream of this level of training.
Yeah I know a common word in all western countries that is completely foreign to Russian's : repetition

Great work men and women of NATO. The Alliance stands strong and together. Paying attention Russkys?
It's not an alliance, It's an arm of U.S imperialism in Europe. It should be utterly destroyed once and for all. The citizens of NATO countries will have to suffer immensely until they dismantle it and the puppets of U.S imperium.
These are the fighting experts Putin's wishes he had.. instead he has drunk mercenary prisoners 😂

Royal artillery without artillery.
The UK makes enough 155mm ammo,in a year, for five minutes of fighting. You cannot rely on the Brits,or any Europeans,or now, it seems, on the US. It is soul crushing to see the cream of a generation, the heroes of Ukraine, being cut down, for no other reason than the West is unwilling to help. We deserve a rock like the dinosaurs.
Nicely done, thanks for that.
ThanksMuch!

it's funny that the West itself came up with "Kyiv in three days" and carries it as if someone really said it in Russia.
does Ukraine have any of those 6 wheeled self propelled mortars? Those are badass. So easy to hit targets you can't see or have a structure in the way.
recently they ordered 100 Rosomak (license produced Partria AMV in Poland) of "diffrent configuations" which might include M120 Rak 120mm self-realoading mortar. But as of now no self-reloading mortars in nato standard have been supplied to ukraine. Only old soviet 2s1 122mm supplied by viarety of countires. That's propably casued by versitily of modern day 155mm artilery which outranges 152mm russian artilery while also providing direct fire mode, and wild popularity of 2s1 in easter block countries (propably they have slightly less than 1000 such pieces after donations).
Эти самоходные миномёты не так уж и невидимы, особенно для страны, владеющий космической группировкой спутников.

Good on Denmark, but it needs to address it's less than 2% defence spending. Only 9 out of 31 NATO countries spend 2% or more. I feel some countries exploit NATO choosing to spend money on high speed rail and 64bn on highways (Denmark), and other nice things rather than meet their commitments.
Very true, but the new bridges and tunnels are needed. Doesn't Denmark fly the F-35,like the UK? Either would make short work of Russian aviation, but of course, they lack the will.
Infrastructure can wait but look at the production of the military vehicles in mass. They are very old many designed in the 1980's with modifications over the decades across NATO. The newer weapons has had limited production numbers with nothing nearing 500 or 1,000 in quantity. Each country needs to supply its own military with high quality but in numbers to effectively take back its own territory. Fighting just a defensive war does not bring Victory.
Thank - you . ( 2923 / Apr / 14 )
The 🇺🇸 could use something like Cesar, or Archer in their artillery inventory.
Several times France and Israel tried to export their mounted artillery, but they refused because they did not want materials produced elsewhere than USA.
M109, but it’s long in the tooth.
Curious to see what the definition of "vast" is in the Danish context? Its a pretty small country. I think the whole place would fit within Shoalwater Bay Training Area.
It's located at the edge of the west coast, 16 km from the nearest city
@@Bakazinha Ok, and its roughly how big? Shoalwater Bay (pre expansion) was some 454,500 ha.
14.500 ha including state owned forests surrounding the military area, but available for exercises.
@@whya2ndaccount Then it's tiny compared to that. But it's located very close to the city of Esbjerg (27 km) And being a big port city, military vehicles and equipment often arrives there by ship. So not that far from it
@@Bakazinha Thanks. I'm sure its substantial, but I just love when journalists use adjectives like "vast". It maybe big in terms of a % of Denmark, but its not "vast" when compared to say British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) in Canada, of Fort Irwin (National Training Centre) in the US or Shoalwater Bay or Bradshaw Training aAes here in Australia.
Polish flag on the soldier arm + polish Krab = biiiiig destruction. Poland gave Ukraine 18 of those...and just to let you guys all know...Poland has over 800 of these i their army 😮
That's hell of a regiment, everyone shld fear them.
Когда этот полк последний раз был на войне???????
Mmmh, just recently in Iraq, Syria, just a guess
Imagine how fast this war would be over if NATO did jump in with troops and full-scale assets, etc...
Yes that would be over soon. Only the political goal is to paint Russia as the agressor. And this is working since nobody helps them. NATO escalation wouldnt add up in that regard, unfortunately for the Ukrainians.
It would last about 30 minutes, but I doubt't any off us would still be alive to see it :(
Your deluded. NATO would run out of ammo long before Russia. It would be suicidal madness. Wake up man!!! Do your research. Russia did not start this. It has acted to reduce the effects but had been ignored by the west who have made it much worse. We have dirty hands in this. We have behaved shamefully. We (NATO, EU, Washington and London) have caused 100s thousands of deaths mainly Ukrainian and have inflicted serous damage on our own people and Ukrainians!!!
You got war and world mixed up

After this war is over,UA can come train NATO! Slava Ukraini!
There will be a lot of lessons learned from the Ukrainian war.
Kaliningrad anyone?
What a pity that Putin and the other Russian tyrants weren't at the landing-spot of one of those shells.
I wonder if there are any UA personnel there... 🤫their insight would have been priceless.
Ukrainians need roughly 1000 pieces of firepower. Mortor's I believe are often over looked in the reporting and are effective on infantry within there range. It is also more cost effective for the quality.
Its all good lads we have a landrover here
I worry about the carbon foot print of these exercises, especially the himars.
Fun fact: Soviet tank product carbon footprint than those thing Someone call whistle death because engine too loud because drain too much fuel and oxygen
Overkill.., If Russians can't even win against Ukraine let alone they try against any of the bigger armies from NATO..,
Well, overkill is the goal. Nobody in military strategy is interested in a fair fight.
I hope I get to train with our Allies sometime soon
Is it not about time they got the proper stuff to the front lines?
Lets All fight for democracy. Send all materiel to Ukraine. And vote for politician who has not lied.
I've seen at least one German uniform in there, but no PzH 2000. Was there a specific reason the Bundeswehr artillery was not in this exercise?
I assume, because our whole artillery is in Ukarine and busy
Fighting's on real Viking land - they must be exited!
Evolution by fire...
Each country should give 10% weapons to Ukraine. The cost of helping Ukraine is a lot cheaper than the cost of allow Russia expansion
Poland gifted Ukraine with 72 Krab howitzers. It is actually more than some NATO countries have in total

If that is the case here are two "dumb " questions for you no one wants to ask: Why has Russia not shutdown any supply chains to the Ukraine army as tanks and troop carriers and now planes flow in ? (One you tube channel had the audacity to title their video clip " Tanks secretly shipped into Ukraine " and then a video of a semi truck in broad daylight hauling a tank ). Last question : Why in one years time now has Putin and his forces not dropped one bomb on the city Zelensky resides in (while narrative remains the same that Russia is trying to take over Ukraine) ???

Brit army. The best in the world
And other funny lies to tell yourself
Fantastic skills and training, but one of the most underfunded in the world 😕
When? 1918?
Probably slightly better educated than the Americans, on average. But the Brits are using essentially bows and errors, compared to the US Air Force, Army, Navy, and its spear heading Marine Corps. The US Marine Corps, for example, may be the smallest of the 4 branches of the US armed forces, but with 170+ Cobras/super Viper gunships.... 145+ Super & King Stallion transport helicopters... 80+ Harrier II... 60+ air refueling super Hercules... 130+ F-35Bs.... and 280+ MV-22 Ospreys --- and with the exception of the KC-130 Super Hercules, ALL the others being aircraft that could land or take off, vertically from any patch anywhere on earth, including smaller amphibious carriers --- it'd be very difficult for another conventional army to compete against...

How does a military exercise mean they're scared? Russia can't even take some land in Ukraine despite military conscription. The West has been surprised if not shocked by how pitiful they are in combat. Years of corruption will do that though.
