Selling the CGT will be one of your biggest regrets of all time. That is going to be one of the biggest appreciating assets you'll ever have. The LAF has already done the majority of its appreciation.
This is the worst mistake they’ve ever made. They won’t be getting a LAF either. They say they can’t mod a CGT if you think their modding a LAF then you’ll be super disappointed.

its not that its a crap car... buhh is not really on brand with DDE, it just wasn't as stimulating coz damon viewed it mostly as an investment, and his personal goal. the SVJ on the other hand, was/is definetely on brand with DDE. same with stradman and the 40th annivesary, he doesn't make any vids with that.

I personally never really cared for the car as much as some people do, but it grew on me over the year or so it was on the channel, and the fact it was so suddenly sold, is the part that makes me sad a little bit.
I would never sell Carrera GT. The history of car, how it was made, Le Mans car street legal, and price keeps going higher… most important the noise is absolutely insane.

Ya it’s honestly kinda taken the wind out of my sails personally because I would have kept that car if I could and would just drive it at home when I was retired. But I’m not there yet and have to still earn money. So on the business side it’s inspired me to make crazier stuff for you to watch. The CGT was a $15,000 a month lease payment and then $5k a month for insurance. Then all the expenses to operate the car. I could do a lot with those funds that the audience would rather watch because the views with this car were awful. 😂

I was the guy in the comments always screaming to get a Porsche, so naturally I’m pretty sad to see the CGT go, as it’s one of my all time favorites. But, man, a LaFerrari would be so frickin sick. And if you have the ability to hope around into cars that you love that are that iconic then I say go for it. One day you’ll be able to afford to have every hypercar and iconic or legendary car all at the same time. For now being able to have one at a time at different times is still pretty amazing.
Shame that the CGT didn’t get the love it deserves. It truly is a timeless design, however. Being with DDE for 4 years I’ve seen one thing that’s a constant. Damon always builds back better and makes it more fun with each car.

Selling the cgt is hard to watch but it gives a lot of room for new builds. I think getting a manual 992 gt3 and doing a crazy build on it would be fun because it brings a new type of car to the channel and put money down for the new Valhalla because you can make videos specing it and plan a build on it as well as building cheaper cars till you take delivery of it. Keep up the good work, what ever you guys build will be sick and the new intros are sick, love from South Africa 🇿🇦
I would absolutely love this, but I doubt they’ll try this again. Apparently they had a GT3 in the past and it wasn’t getting very many views so they got rid of it quick.

Damon has my utmost respect for putting smart business moves before his own dreams. The CGT was one of his dream cars so I know it must really hurt to see it go. Yes, they made money on it but that's not what that car was about for him. In the end, it made more sense to sell it than to keep it and I give DDE props for keeping the channel growing and progressing towards other opportunities.

Its not growing. Its tanking. Their average views the last 6 months have tanked. There their earnings are way down. They’ve burned bridges Salomondrin style and the roosters are fast coming home to roost. They are scrambling and scratching at the moment. Making mistake after costly mistake.

I was really hoping you could keep it in your collection, we could see the amount of joy that car brought you. I wish your audience could have seen how that car is so legendary. As for futur car, Mercedes SLS black series might be worth looking at. Market is going down from those insane price but it's still in the affordable zone. It's a awesome looking car with DOORS THAT GO UP, NA V8 that sound so mean, agressive styling and so on... you know the car. Only thing is seeing your audience taste I don't know if they will understand that car. On to the next!

When the CGT first came to the channel I wasn’t totally on board but very quickly grew to love the car. DDE getting the CGT is also what made me realize that I love Porsche cars! This feels like one of those natural growing apart breakups. I just hope that one day y’all have so much success you can buy another CGT and keep it! As for the meantime… can’t wait to see what comes to the channel next! Goodbye CGT, it was a wild ride!

The 1st and 2nd Gen are also pretty decent on price! Just maintenance bills are a tad pricey!! Few more years to go but I think I’ll start with a panamera and work my way up from there!

The racing might actually be quite refreshing and a very new take at the channel. To finally see the cars being driven to their full potential instead of just on freeways ( which I still love) and doing donuts (which again, I still freaking love).

I can't speak for everybody, but it's not that we don't like the cgt, it's just that it's not the same in a video than in real life! In videos, the crazy builds you guys are doing are more of a wow factor and is entertaining for longer in my opinion :) Keep up the great work guys! Selling the CGT not only breaks my heart, but I’m sure it breaks your heart as well, too, Damon. Like you, the CGT by far has the best sounding V10 with a close second being the LFA. Onto bigger and better things with the CGT. Not gonna lie, I enjoyed watching content that involved the CGT from purchasing it to where it is right now. I’m gonna miss the CGT just as much, maybe more, than the Murcielago. Both of those two cars were my dream cars, and I enjoyed watching those cars evolve over time with all the mods that you did to the cars. I wish you the best of luck to find something to be just as good as the CGT.

Idk why but i'd love to see the new GT3 RS on the channel as well. I know most of the people are getting tired of these "cheap" cars and looking forward to the million dollar cars but i think the GT3 Rs would be amazing.

When I first saw the CGT, I wasn't the biggest fan, but after the seeing the million and 1 montages of it's sexy curves and that gorgeous interior, I can honestly say that It's leaving as one of my favourite cars of all time thanks to DDE and the quality of content. I love that triple black spec SENNA y'all posted earlier. An Aston Martin 🇬🇧 would be awesome too, specially something like a Superleggera. Also a Porsche build would be cool, something to pay tribute to the one of a kind car that's leaving. Something like a 911 Cup car build. Another question would be, does Lanzante do anything special for say a 675 LT, now that would be awesome. OR any other company for that matter. The 675LT is such a special car, miss that being on the channel.
