This week I experienced van life alone again... something that feels incredibly comforting and familiar to me. Being alone in the forested mountains of Utah is a special thing... and I have a lot to share this week. Thanks for watching everyone :)

  • You should write a book. I love your voiceovers. They are beautiful and poetic and thought- provoking. I often find myself brought to tears from your words and the messages they share. Keep doing what you’re doing. You inspire so many people.

  • I just found your content. It was a 4 day solo or 6 day solo with Akela. I have really enjoyed your life and content. You are such a real person. You live such a great honest life full of integrity, compassion, awareness, joy and gratitude. At least that is what I’ve gathered from the first 30 videos or so. Working my way through the older videos now. In one video you mentioned people being hateful to you on the internet and I just can’t possibly see how anyone could take issue with you or your life. I’m headed to Patreon next!!! Keep the great content coming!!

  • I saw this episode at the beginning of the week where I've chosen to not post on Facebook. While I'm still scrolling through once a day, it has started to remind me that I need to make contact with my environment. We live in a small town, and we have an incredible yard full of birds and flowers and I'm retired, so if I have anything, I have time. My goal this summer is to enjoy every moment. Thank you for the inspiration.

    • Me too! I have tons of yard work winter cleanup and the never ending weeding. I told my husband since I have time..I am going to do one section at a time and love where my yard/garden is now. My daffodils were gorgeous and my tulips to vibrant. Apple, cherry, pear blossoms so delicate in color. I am going to appreciate it all coming awake instead of always looking at the work to be done! Cheers! ❤

  • I was near tears at the end, not sad tears, but longing tears. It's funny the things we take for granted as kids, heck even as adults. What I wouldn't give to have one of my mom's hugs or for my brother to call me squirrel. I try to shift sadness to gratitude for the fact that I have so many wonderful memories. To be so thankful to have had such love that even 10 and 2 yrs later my heart still aches for their absence. I so love the peace you find in nature and solitude. It is a truly beautiful thing to have found what fulfills your soul, and had the wherewithal to follow your heart at such a young age. Many of us don't find it until we are older, some never do.

You are so good at sharing your attempts, successes and the ones you will keep to develop. I love it, you are an inspiration. To go further than think ‘I should learn that’s to what does it take to try? Thanks Linnea

  • A million possible futures....and people landing on one and only one of those millions of possibilities... and sticking with it forever, foregoing all the others. You put this into words so perfectly. I struggle with this constantly! NOT because I stay with one and only one life, but because I love so many things and want to experience so many lives.... I'm constantly changing and people (with the best of intentions!) are always wishing/hoping I'll "find what I'm looking for" and settle down. But for me....that sounds like such a waste and really boring. Thank you for the validation and understanding! You're so much more evolved than I was at your age and I only now am catching up with you (I'm 64 😂). YAY YOU! Carry on! 💚🩵💚

  • Linnea, once again you have put out such a beautiful video. Showing us your surroundings, your thoughts, your dreams all while letting others know they are not alone with their struggles of mental health. Thank you for always being real. Your journey right now to some may seem pointless but those of us that are trying to live the same dream are clearly tuned into your very open heart of how rewarding this lifestyle can be. As always sending you vibes of Blessings and Love for you and your pups and Chris. I Love how you give and respect each other's personal time for growth and then can come back together in Love and Harmony and share your ups and downs with each other. You keep being you and we will keep watching. Right now my real dream hasn't started because once again I'm at a standstill parked up at a friends house until I get the mini bus repairs done. Then look out world, here I come. (Lol) Until your next video, you stay safe and enjoy that big beautiful outdoors.

This method may still work if your not using a string and another stick to turn the spindle. Good luck .Nice that you and the dogs got to have an awesome get away in such a beautiful place . We just bought our first travel trailer and we’ve (the hubs and I) have so many fun plans already and we slept in it last night in our driveway! Your lifestyle has inspired me so much! I’m sorry your dad left his earth walk so abruptly, something I’m sure he wasn’t happy about either. I watched my mom die for over 5 yrs in a bed! Grief is so hard and we think we’re through it and then it slaps you and it feels brand new again! I’m holding space for you your family and your healing! ❤❤❤ Maybe next time try making your fire before your workout! It looks like a workout on its own!! Remember, we are always in constant motion if you aren’t growing and evolving your dying a slow existence ✌️

I’m originally from the UK but live in the PNW so I’m loving this show and wondered if you are watching it as there is so much great pottery info on it and great humor! ♥️🥣🍵☕️🍶

  • I really like this style video where you're out in nature reconnecting with yourself. With KZhead in place and traveling there's the ability to see that you aren't that different. Yes you live in a van but so do many others. You fit in exactly where you need to be.

  • I first started camping out of my SUV not by choice but economic reasons & it was so difficult at 1st for me to get accustom to but video's like yours helped me find a whole new side of myself. I learned so much about myself & tried new things. I am still growing & learning as a person. I feel like I'm a better person, happier, stronger & learning to accept life as it is. Thanks so much for your words, thoughts & reflections. It really helps so many of us out here on these empty nights. I wish you a blessed life full of happiness & thanks for all you give us.

  • By far the most artistic and beautifully retrospective video I have ever watched. Thank you for blessing me with this moment in my life to be reminded of what I believe and need. To be out in the open and listening even more❤

  • So glad a new video is up. My husband is locked into a career and has three more years at least before we can start traveling. I am looking forward to it. We bought a camper, there will be three of us and we are setting it up for what we want. Just ripped out the bathroom, lol. The mullein and lambs ear are different plants. Mullein is great for a number of things, but if you're going to make a tea you have to wrap it in a coffee filter , it has very fine irritating hairs that irritate the throat. Mullein also makes a great oil or tincture. Look into art journaling or junk journals also. I make both that are totally handmade and you create in them what you will. I've seen some made totally from receipts and papers that would normally be thrown away and then you write about where you are and how the sun makes you feel in the morning etc. This may be a great idea for you, look into making your own water colors from the elements you come across. There was a wonderful book about watercolor making from dried flowers, stones, charcoal, pinecones all ground and mixed. Sorry, can't remember the guys name, I got it from the library. He shows how to take different colored stones etc, grind into a pigment and mix with a binder (gum arabic)and honey. Then you can capture some vistas on paper and write about the area and what you are going through at the time. There are several watercolor creators on etsy if you don't want to make your own. Domestika has some watercolor courses you could take. I do love earth tone pigments, there is a brand out of Europe that I want, but can't find a seller here and they won't ship it. I do love being planted where I am, in the mountains of Colorado, but would enjot seeing the country. You're so blessed to have had a father and those experiences. Growing up I never went camping and then did as a twenty something before I started my career, I miss it. Loved the video

  • The surroundings is not just beautiful but it’s so YOU hunni. Journaling is the best, I’ve been doing it for years now and have also put down many thoughts that I’ve told to nobody. Just to get them out 👍. MAKING it true when it was said sometimes talking about it really helps 😊🙏. An excellent way to not let anything fester - sunrise and sunset is beautiful and I’ve seen many BUT I’m a moon girl - always have been. Dad always said It sees all, says nothing and is always there even if you can’t see it. ♥️ Have a great time and all the best with your fire. I gave up that idea but when I go to the woods I take my flint 👍👍
