i mean they probably knew way before their debut, as well. Don't tell me you think it's a coincidence that they included 4 Japanese member in the lineup right? lol. Didn't watch all the survival program with Treasure but it was definitely in YG ent's intention/apart of their marketing strategy to include as many Japanese member as possible. Kpop has been aiming at the Japanese music industry forever because of the huge profit they can make from it. And considering how much Twice blew up in Japan (especially because of Sana, Momo, and Mina), having Japanese members = more likelihood of success there. Twice is actually known to be JYP's way of "testing the waters" for his all-Japanese girl group (aka NiziU). Of course, Twice did WAYY better than he expected and thus, the push for Nizi Project!

As BIGBANG became the biggest boyband unrivaled by any Japanese act most kpop entertainment started sending their artists in Japan too. Daesung had more activities in Japan and had more Japanese songs. iKON basically grew as iKON in Japan as they had long promotions there when they debuted. So yeah, what the op probably meant was Treasure J-line would be so happy hearing the news that they are gonna start Japan promotions/activities etc.

I believe J-line would be the happiest and most excited about this. They are going to sing/rap using their own language. :) I hope they will go to Japan and promote personally their debut there. This will be also an opportunity for the J-line to go back home and be with their family. I hope Covid is over when March comes and there will no more travel restrictions.

i mean they probably knew way before their debut, as well. Don't tell me you think it's a coincidence that they included 4 Japanese member in the lineup right? lol. Didn't watch all the survival program with Treasure but it was definitely in YG ent's intention/apart of their marketing strategy to include as many Japanese member as possible. Kpop has been aiming at the Japanese music industry forever because of the huge profit they can make from it. And considering how much Twice blew up in Japan (especially because of Sana, Momo, and Mina), having Japanese members = more likelihood of success there. Twice is actually known to be JYP's way of "testing the waters" for his all-Japanese girl group (aka NiziU). Of course, Twice did WAYY better than he expected and thus, the push for Nizi Project!

As BIGBANG became the biggest boyband unrivaled by any Japanese act most kpop entertainment started sending their artists in Japan too. Daesung had more activities in Japan and had more Japanese songs. iKON basically grew as iKON in Japan as they had long promotions there when they debuted. So yeah, what the op probably meant was Treasure J-line would be so happy hearing the news that they are gonna start Japan promotions/activities etc.

But it's a reverse in TRSR's situation, they don't even have a solid fanbase in SoKor and k-netz are still ignoring them. In iKON's situation, they already had the solid fanbase, they were sent in Japan and the solid fanbase in SoKor don't like it.
