I can’t express what a pleasure it is to watch your lovely aunt and uncle; such a sweet, joyful and sincere couple. We should all aspire to be so optimistic, happy and lovely, inside and out.

Your Mother's reaction, when you told everyone you had forgotten to order the turkey, was priceless! I too have a terrible cold and cough, but not Covid, thankfully! Living alone, I do not have a wonderful, loving, Philip to bring me a Christmas cup of tea and sympathy sadly! It is just me and the dog! I think, like your Mummy said, you have worn yourself out, but that is the way your life is at the moment. Thank you for sharing your downs as well as ups with us all here, we LOVE you, and wish you better. xxx

There's some nasty bugs around ...I live on the Isle of Wight and we've had an awful cold and cough doing the rounds. Several of my friends have gone down with it including me . I wish you well ...take plenty of rest and try not to over do things ❤️❤️❤️

My husband and I live in the Midwest and we are just getting over Covid!
You should not be walking around with the flu when older people are around. They can get it much worse than you. My father was hospitalized with flu twice-before Covid. Fortunately, he survived but it was close. Even if it’s just a cold, no one wants to catch it before Christmas.

Hot tea with lemon and honey and a shot of brandy. Lots of sleep. A hot bath soak with Epsom salts. You will be good as new. I don't think these things will work for Dan's van though sending him Good vibes to get that thing fixed. His boys are darling! Sending blessings and prayers from Texas!

I think this was actually my favourite episode of Advent! It was just lovely being a part of all the busy- ness of getting ready for Christmas, and so heart warming how everyone jumps in and helps others when needed. That’s true Christmas spirit! Rest up and hope you feel better soon Stephanie. 🎄 ❤
The flower that Phillip loves that he did not know the name of is Statice. It is a favourite with flower growers as it dries exactly as it is.

I cought a head cold three months ago and it was terrible. I had to flu about 40 years ago, one and only, and I still remember how I felt. It had to happen !! Nothing that whisky and sugar and cloves in hot water can't fix ! I told a collegue to take this some years ago when she fell really ill and next day she turned up in great shape ! She had actually taken several glasses of this mix instead of the one I suggested, so she was on turbo drive all week ! Hugs xxx
