Lol I work Back of House in a flower shop and that was so accurate. Front of House will come back on a busy day and be like "There's a customer up front who wants XYZ" and I've literally said "Does there have to be?"
I have literally said that before when a table walked in 15 minutes before close.
I worked at Domino's during the pandemic and eventually worked my way to manager before leaving. Fast forward to the other night when I had a bad craving for pizza at about 10 pm, ordered and they called and told me they had no drivers. Did I believe it? No! Did I get it? 100%😂 Had so many nights where I wished I could have said no😂😂

I want to give Keith credit for how he reacted when the oven fell. He handled it so well! Very respectful and kind yet still in charge. Exactly what a leader should do.
YES! He didn't get upset or freak out, just handled it.
And he was so sweet when Zach asked what happened. Johnny started to say “I knocked the oven over” and Keith interrupted and said “it fell.” He clearly didn’t want Johnny to feel like it was his fault or that he was the bad guy for something that was in a precarious position to begin with.

The adoption of Jonny Cakes as an unofficial Try Guy really has been such a great move for the channel to make. I’ve always loved the channel, but loosing the dead weight and gaining a whole new group of fantastic new personalities has really made it easy for me to watch and rewatch the newer videos. Watching Keith handle the oven incident shows how great of a dad he will be. Very patient, understanding and didn’t place blame. I wish there were more people like that in bad situations ❤
This video tickled me so much. There were so many great moments. From the restaurant's concept development, to the tomato paste, to the pizza slices vs. centrifugal force, to the oven falling, to the chemistry amongst everyone amidst the absolute chaos. Doing everything with only one small oven was also a very bold choice. I feel like I was watching a live-action game of Overcooked. I get about as worked up as Keith when I play so props to everyone for keeping it so chill when it really mattered. Towards the end when they were reflecting about how surprised they were about how much they actually cared was also super cute, I hope everyone still loves each other lmao.
After seeing Keith's reaction to the oven falling it's good to see if Keith's kid in the future ever got into a situation like that they wouldn't be yelled at, or blamed. He'd just help fix the problem. It would have been easy for Keith to go crazy like he does when he loses food challenges for comedy sake, but it was wholesome seeing Keith just reassure Jonny it was all good and they all fixed the issue together.

This was one of my favorite try guys videos of all time. The chaos was unmatched. Maybe I'm biased as a career server/resturant manager but there were moment upon moment of relatable footage. I'm honestly so proud of this whole team for being able to go through this process without giving up? 10/10
I love how it felt like Keith was genuinely stressed out this whole video, not just doing his angry bit. Then when it did actually go wrong he immediately snapped out of it and into problem solving mode. Calm, logical thinking to mitigate danger. Reassuring Johnny it’s okay and doesn’t blame him because, hey, accidents happen. And when Zach asks what happened, he didn’t throw Johnny under the bus, took accountability as a team, and recognizing the important thing is to move forward. I’ve worked all different kinds of jobs with many different kinds and levels of stress and pressure, and I can tell you that not a lot of people can react like that. Especially when they were already in a heightened level of stress. Mad respect for him. Henry is so lucky to have a dad like Keith.

The strong FoH/ BoH vibes in this video 😂 Also major props to Keith and Kwesi for keeping extremely calm and safety oriented during the oven incident. Champs. Keith's tough but fair leadership style the entire time really pushed service through. Love that we got to see his management style vs the hectic facade we usually see.
Keith is known for having the most dramatic freak outs when it's funny. But then being the calm assertive voice of reason when it truly matters is amazingly attractive 😂😂

I felt like Keith was being an asshole and I really didn’t like it. But I think it’s not just this video that’s giving me the ick, I think I was already getting the ick, and that it was just really obvious in this video.

@@AleksandarBell see, this is the thing. it's not feeling like a bit anymore. it's feeling like we're starting to see through the cracks of who keith really is. i've never complained about him melting down when he loses WAR, yeah, that's a funny bit. but the CONSTANT 'i'm the boss and even if i like to pretend i'm not most of the time' isn't funny to me anymore. i'm also definitely feeling ick after last week's tryplog. they were in the storage unit and desiree was explaining the organization and sign in/out system for the kitchen stuff. the guys are saying how much they'd love to raid it for their own dinners, and desiree is like 'as long as you use the sign out sheet!' and keith goes 'i think i can get away with it'. totally earnestly. like, fuck the employees and the work they're doing for the success of your company, because you're the boss you can disrespect the work they do to make sure your company is running? just feels very 'i'm a white man and as long as i laugh after i do something shitty, it's fine'. it seems like they've seen booting red as their social good with the company, and now they can just do whatever they want. promote known unethical companies (betterhelp and purina/nestle), be rude to their staff? it's fine, because they did an internal review around a singular person 18 months ago. and they're 'the good guys'. feels to me like they've gotten really comfortable just being seen as 'the good guys' and they're expecting to get away with some ick things because of it. and this is just one more straw on the camel's back from where i'm standing.
@@AleksandarBell but maybe i'm just triggered because i've worked for a lot of people that think that not outright abusing people means that they're treating them well. like, no one deserves a cookie for not verbally or sexually abusing your staff. that's the bare minimum.

The mass chaos of this all is giving family owned restaurants vibes. Keith and Zach bickering, Zach still actively trying decide if it’s a gay restaurant right up to the opening, Kwesi pronouning the name of the restaurant 5 different ways, the scrambling for things to work up until the last minute. Might be the best video of 2024 so far.
This was such a great video 😂 the teenagers giving the vibes a 3 and then saying the restaurant was Millennial core was sooo funny. Kwesi’s ability to stay calm is also hilarious 😂
