  • The final tip is also called the “out-in-out” technique, it makes it so it’s the straightest and fastest way through a corner and obviously commonly used with racing drivers

    • Brake to maximum capacity at your braking point Move your vision to the apex point Turn-in your car at the turn-in point Make the apex of the ideal racing line Begin to introduce the accelerator Open up steering to the corner’s exit point This creates numerous advantages: as the turn-in point is slightly later, you can brake a little later, saving lap time the amount of time you spend turning is reduced - a car is fastest in a straight line, so you want to optimise this because the car is turned earlier in the corner, the corner exit is opened up, and you can get to full throttle sooner

      @dontcryboutit@dontcryboutit2 жыл бұрын
    • @a random person the apex or clipping point is the point on the inside portion of a corner that a vehicle passes closest to. The apex can also be described as the point of minimum radius and slowest speed achieved in a corner.

  • Another tip: many courses have shortcuts that you can gain time by taking. Most obvious example of this is rare bear near the port

    @iqbalhussein5434@iqbalhussein54342 жыл бұрын
    • Yea but thing is with most of these shortcuts you need to nail them to actually gain time and with rare bear you are basically required to use a car that doesn't clip 🗿

  • Something I’ve noticed while playing is regulating your speed when hitting the jumps. Some times it’s better to ease off the gas when approaching a jump as it will get you back to the ground quicker, and then back on the throttle for acceleration.

  • I would say also avoid jumps that just go straight and back on track a little further. You're not gaining any speed on while on air and will loose speed with the impact. Also cornering too tight by touching the dirt on the side of the road will end on a not always profitable loss of speed.

  • Really nice video but the number 5 spot is a bit of a mixed bag because if you are using any other engined car from a flat 4 to a v12 I would agree using NO2 straight away but when using a classic v8 for example a 69 charger r/t because when I've used the 69 charger especially when racing the rear end of the car spins slightly to the left also you won't be able to beat any race as a rookie in the racing genre I've played need for speed since the ps1 days I've played underground 2 most wanted carbon and many others and a bit of advice from me to the rookies or new players to the genre do as many races as you can so you can gain skills to win every time also earn as much rep as you can so you can get better cars and performance parts

    • You have to let off the gas and the press it again when taking a corner to drift, that’s basically a cloutch kicking in nfs heat plus sometimes with some cars at really high or really really low speed work but slightly but is better to drift with tho mostly because to drift you need speed and if you brake to drift you lose speed, hope this helped! :D

  • So its not a mistake to switch drift from gas to brake is my wondering, another idea is the handling rating on the cars isnt visible like b4 n is biggest factor in corners turns n simply keeping the car straight if u saw the cars true handling u would c that it can be a doulbe edged sword especially when colliding into barriers walls n not staying on the racing line which is heavily based in the track second to the car making nos not as useful when out classed just by car alone(rsr) that can do a uturn @100mph compared to urs which requires ebrake(skyline99) since regular brake locks the turn up on certain cars even just double tapn gasn can lock certain cars steering(Lamborghini) which is second to the race track doing it with bottom outs bunny hoppin me into a triple flippn crash.

  • Hey a method that I use a lot at night is at Downtown Palm City and at Port Murphy there are two jumps that go over water and cops just can’t go on, they either stop or automatically crash into the water, it’s a really easy way to get rid of every heat level of cops - I call it the bamboozle area
