  • Hey guys, I've created an English subtitle for the Japanese talking parts, it's under review right now and should be up soon! It took me hours to make(this is my first time making subtitle on KZhead). Hope it helps. My Japanese is limited so I guess I'll make more to improve it. (I'm a Chinese international student studying in an English speaking country and I love Japan)

  • 😆 John and the 3 beautiful ladies are matching 😅. You looked so happy showing us all the sakura till the apple candy part 😦😦... ohh how I felt so bad for you. It seemed your disappointment would last till the end of the live streaming. But I'm relieved 😀 to see the grandmas could put your smile back on your face 😅😅. Also, how can you differenciate between Indonesian and Thai tourists there? Even every Thai I met in Bangkok thought I am a Thai (I'm an Indonesian) and started talking to me in Thai hahaha... till I replied them in English trying to explain that I could't speak Thai. But, that's good. I had the opportunity to talk to them. Thais are super kind and helpful, just like the Japanese you met. For John, stay safe, healthy and spiritful. I'm so glad you have made it that far. Best luck! 😃😇😎

  • I wonder how many people got the "how many lick does it take" reference hehe. That's what often frustrate me about candied apple - the candy coating is just hard and thick. My sister and I usually share one whenever we get any and we'd have to crack it first before eating the apple in chunks - it helps that we usually buy them wrapped so that we don't lose any pieces... like you did LOL! Well at least you got a bite out of it?

Don't do that so prolonged without asking please x) On another note I'm self teaching myself japanese lately and i'm at a pretty revolutionary point where i kinda understand his casual chats with people in theese live videos as it goes on, before he describes it in English. Not word for word usualy but with what i do know with the context it feels like i understand most of it. ^^

Believe it or not, I watched this till the end, and that's probably for the same reason you streamed that long: those three very engaging grandmas gave it that essential local color. And it was fun watching you interact with them as any local tourist who speaks their language would. Nothing could be more authentic than that.
