  • As someone who has previously struggled with orthorexia and at one time counted every gram of food I ate, to eating like a normal person again and gaining weight to compete in strong woman competitions, this is like watching my two alter egos at meal time.

    • ​@@Inventor1488you're literally part of the problem. this person just said that they have a diagnosed eating disorder and you immediately gaslit them, told hem to continue in a compulsion, and then body shamed a bunch of random women that you don't know for no reason - they weren't even involved in the conversation at hand. that's so out of pocket 😭 the reason its an eating 'disorder' is because its not a healthy relationship with food to maintain a healthy weight, its a fixation that limits someones ability to enjoy their life. do some research and stay healthy 👍🏾

The ones I personally know at my age (40) are all suffering from massive health problems, especially in their joints and bones. So I dunno, but I rather not having abs and being a bit over weight then needing constant physiotherapy just to be able to walk 😉

    • @@Brc-kg1mg I do some powerlifting as my bodybuilding training. I like to train my legs super heavy with fewer reps, so it's basically powerlifting :D I don't enjoy barbell bench press that's kinda my problem for powerlifting. But who knows, maybe some time in the future

  • This was such a great video and such a wholesome perspective on food. I did a cut in November and honestly starvation is the best seasoning. I totally understand that plain rice cakes taste so good during a cut or that bodybuilders have the worse taste buds. 😂 I appreciate how you mentioned that technically both diets aren’t considered healthy and that it’s ultimately to achieve a temporary goal vs making this a lifestyle.

  • Mitch, just so you know that spray is not actually zero calories! It only gets away with saying so because the serving size is ridiculously small, something like a quarter second of a spray. All oil, including cooking sprays, have the same calorie content of around 9 calories per gram/ 40 per teaspoon Loved the video!

  • Little T's metabolism has to be messed up for going on such a big cut. I am 5'1" and 120lbs, have 17% body fat, and my maintenance calories is 2,200. I am shocked that her bulking calories are still so low!

    • 5'0", 105lbs, 2200 calories maintenance for me! And 250g of carbs a day at least. It's a bad idea to compete (in any sport) if your metabolism isn't sky high. That should be the first objective.

  • You guys are so much fun to listen to, there is so much bouncing back and forth. I love learning about exercise stuff in this way. My pre-work out meal is nothing lol, I get dizzy when i eat before working out so always skip it. The fact that you both do a pre-workout meal is making me think i should look more into the benefits and if there's a way I can work around the dizziness. Also you two have the same height difference that me and my ex had... i am realizing why my friends made fun of me for "trying to scale a mountain"

As someone who left the athletic sports world because of how unhealthy (physically & mentally) it was I really appreciate you pointing out that neither of your routines is ideal or sustainable in the long run, and realistically one should strive for a life where they could find the joy in nutrition the way you do, but still be healthy and mindful the way little T is.

    • Not really, EDs disregard the importance of macros (on either side of an ED) bodybuilding you're restricting yourself methodically, ensuring that you're keeping up proteinc carbs, not having too much fat but eotll giving yourself allowance and in doing so, you'll loose weight whilst hopefully maintaining your hard earned muscle. Bodybuilding is methodical, EDs is just either pure restriction or lack of.

  • This was wonderful. Little T is a joy. But yeah, none of her meals look bad or that out of place. Id just eat 7 of them on a cut XD. Mitchell's are a little bit of a push even on a bulk. But Im with little T, after 13+ years using scale I can hear the gears in my head screeching watching Mitchell just scoop food with wild abandon.
