  • Imagine getting this in your recommendations years from now. As you listen all the memories come rushing back. The twists and the turns before the ending. We will either look back at this with nostalgia, or sorrow.

    • That is because most of the Fandom misunderstood erens character. Paths eren was eren who had resigned to his own future. Essentially a slave who just followed the future and his desire to be free. He cared less about paradis. He cared more about his friends and his own vision of childish freedom. At the end, he just revealed his true childish mindset. Chad eren was just eren who was self loathing, not proud of his actions. Just like how grisha was hesitant, even eren was hesitant for 4 years. He was literally depressed in chapter 123 and wanted some form of escapism through mikasas answer. But he didn't get it and knew he would never get it because future is set in stone.

    • @@shubhamvyas3192 The future is not set in stone. We see the Founding Titan being able to change the past in chapter 139 with Ymir and Eren. The Paths are all the paths they can take in life. Why do you think it's called Paths it's a path that connects all Eldians it is not affected by time yet being time itself. It has branches on everything that has ever existed in their reality and many more

    • @@dripmonke6112 The future is set in stone. The past can be changed, yes, but any change made already happened. That’s why Zeke says “the past can’t change.” It’s based on Eternalism, in which the past, present and future have already happened. There are no alternate timelines in AoT, just a single timeline. Eren tried to change things but we see in Chapter 131 he couldn’t, everything played out as he saw in his memories. The whole arc of Eren is how the character who values freedom the most must face a future he is a slave to. But deep down, it was the future he wanted.
