And not only this. The last 5 or 6 matches between NaVi and G2 were won by NaVi. Despite all the hate that aleksib, iM and jL received, they managed to win the Major. 🏆

He knows how to get the teamwork to make the dream work and people dont see that for some reason even after all these years.

One thing that was not mentioned, but it is worth it. B1ade's impact seems to be huge. He faced huge challenges: - War in Ukraine and you need to remove the russian players - S1mple's burnout - Switch the language. He managed all of this. He proved that hard work pays of, there are no non-replaceable players, The team is not about gifted players, and he can build a top-level team with the resources that he has. For me, it proves that B1ade is one of the greatest coaches of all time in CS history!!! Anyway, Thanks for the review.
real. People somehow forget there is an ongoing war in ukraine that affects navi as a mostly ukrainian team DRASTICALLY. Kicking all the ruzzian players and still wining a major as a underdogs is insane
I remember the time when he played in Flipside many centuries ago and i was thinking: "He is playing awful, but dude, he NEEDS to be a coach and he will be fantastic at this role". Never had disbelief in navi coaching ever since they added B1ade. Absolute legend
They didn't even kick Electronic and Perfecto, the duo decided to leave on their own. Not sure why, maybe the atmosphere was too toxic for obvious reasons or they were afraid of repercussions in Russia if they stayed in a Ukrainian team, or something else, but it was their desire to leave
@@Limemill good for them. They should stay on the swamp or reject themselves as ruzzian players and take neutral flag. What is the point of your comment?
@@likes7635 My point is that the comment above is not right. Navi didn't have the balls to kick the Russians even though the latter, unlike Monesy, didn't get themselves passports from a neutral country and move there, nor did they speak up publicly against the war

Been a Navi fan since 2018, them winning the first csgo major wasna dream come true. Knowing that that 2020 navi roster was the strongest it had ever been. This maior just feels even better cause everyone had a much higher reason to win the trophy than just "I haven't won a major yet". I'm a simple fin: Aleksib yell: "Torilla tavataan!" (we meet at the market square) I go get drunk at the market square
So is it market or is it like town square?
@@panbanan1151 the Finnish word "tori" means both depending on context but when people say "torilla tavataan" it's referring to a specific place that is yes a market.
@@kasperimanninen thanks for the explanation mate
It has a great meaning originating from Ice Hockey and world championships, Finland for many years was unable to win a championship until 1995, since ice hockey is basically the only thing that really united finnish people as one and being very passionate about it they were over the moon to beat their rival in 1995 and went nuts So 100000 finnish people all around Finland got shitfaced and a lot of them celebrated at ”Kauppatori” (Tori) in Helsinki where there is a fountain and til this day becomes a place to go whenever Finland or someone finnish (who notoriously rarely achieves anything in a world scale) go to show celebrate their country’s victory in pride 🥰 so (kauppa)torilla tavataan means ”At the town square we meet”
🐟
Good day being a NaVi fan, that being said it feels very weird that navi won the major. Before major happened, I look at the new NAVI as the top 3, top4 gatekeepers, realistically if you set them to play 10 Bo3s against top 10 teams, they are coming out with a negative result only against Vitality, Faze and (jury is still out on them) Spirit. I hope that this win was not a fluke and they can build on it
I don't think its a fluke but for them to reproduce similar performances requires more consistency from iM and B1t imo, I still can't see this team reliably beating Spirit / Vita / Faze even if they are capable of upsetting them.
@@Fyr35555 Yeah, that's the main question with this roster. I'm confident they can beat any team in the world if b1t and iM perform like they did just now in the finals but it's a coin flip whether or not they actually will.

Justice for aleksib, u did him dirty, punks
I remember when people were laughing at this roster. I had Navi to win it, but I was a single point short in the opening stage, so no diamond coin for me. Still, the gold coin matches Navi's colours (Navi Gold). The question is... what does s1mple do now? The current Navi roster proved they can not only win without s1mple but also win a Major without him. I just don't see a place for him in Navi anymore. Not unless he replaces iM as a rifler, but I don't think Navi would have won the Major if s1mple was on the team. His temper and bad vibes ruin the flow of the team. The reason why Navi won is because none of the players have an ego (unlike s1mple). They win as a team, and they lose as a team.
He would also cost a lot and if he comes back and sucks they can't sell him
Simple's practically out of Navi.
i hope Aleksi can boss him around if he comes back with the respect he has gained from winning the major

Dimitri, I love your storytelling! You're really good at speaking with energy and passion, which in turn rubs off on the listener!
I feel like the edge is so small between all of these top teams that it really comes down to just whoever is heating up that day. MR12 ensures anything can happen and all five of Navi was just hitting on all cylinders in the GF
Such a great run from Na'Vi. If I wasn't a fan before, I am now. I love that core, I love jL and iM, they are SO legit. This core is fun, youthful, and damn good too. Let's go Na'Vi!
I've reviewed some of JL's demos. Pretty well convinced he's on the gear.
At least Niko had fun major finals watching two igl’s that he kicked play. 😂
I bet he genuinely thinks these IGLs are good but just not compatible with his play style. what he will never admit (looking at how he's ruining G2 now) is that his preferred play style isn't compatible with winning. Any time he won something it was when he trusted an IGL for a while and bought into a real tactical system. when his teams start to play fast and loose gut-based CS it only looks good in the group stage, at best. and it's just so fragile, it has no floor. if a few things go wrong there is no procedure to fall back on so teams like this just implode in their bad matches.
B1T is now objectively the best rookie ever.
Brokys gotta be up there, especially since he was much more unknown when he joined faze
No one expected this but well deserved. They played like warriors.
I'm a G2 fan - it felt like m0NESY had to hard carry, but we TOTALLY threw that final round of Ancient, like why did they peek before the flash?! - anyway, despite this, nexa was actually putting in work, HooXi did on several maps, but NiKo wasn't peak NiKo. Man, honestly I felt this was ours after the comeback on Ancient and then we throw the round that would've forced OT 😂
Eh, I don't really consider that round a throw in that way. You could see G2 were expecting an A hit then pivoted to taking B Main control to strangle any mid aggression. NiKo was waiting for the flash and HooXi wasn't that pushed up either, they just hit straight into NAVI's setup. If you look at NAVI's setup there, they were ready to destroy any CT aggression before taking B. You had two players playing anti flash as well. G2 just weren't ready for how insanely fast NAVI executed their set play into B. HooXi got ran over and NiKo had no chance. m0NESY completely choked under the pressure of 5 NAVI players and it was all over. Realistically, the only thing G2 could've done there was have HooXi kill b1t on the initial engagement. Waiting for the flash wasn't possible because they just got into position to push off a flash so the timing wasn't there.
G2 is literally what NaVi was in CS GO before perfecto, boombla, b1t etc. They need to let go of Hunter, Nexa and NiKo. And build team around Monesy.
G2 could've had a very big chance of winning map 1 if the kovac cousins didn't choke that 1v2 post-plant against aleksib
They peeked before the flash, because there was no flash. Monesy was throwing a smoke (14:42). Don't ask me why, with a good flash, they could have gotten something there.
"we" "ours", who the hell are you ? You're not in their roster.

Its just sad not seeing monesy at the top. He is such a talent, he deserves it the most imo.
