On December 31 2012 one of the best fighters in the history of heavyweight, Semmy Schilt nicknamed Hightower ended his professional career. For 10 years of his career in kickboxing, Schilt managed to become a four-time K-1 Grand Prix champion, defeating such famous fighters as Badr Hari, Peter Aerts, Rico Verhoeven, Jerome Le Banner, Ernesto Hoost and many other strong fighters. Many K-1 fans explain Semmy Schilt's success to his great advantage in height and arm length, but Hightower also suffered defeats like all great fighters. Today we will remember the three biggest defeats in Semmy Schilt's career, so make yourself a cup of tea, sit back and get ready to watch this video.
Oh I remember Ignashov, he's the type who can win the best of the best but lose to any random fighter. Not surprised he beated Schilt. He always seems to beat the ones everyone has difficulty with
Emelianenko destroyed him.
Igmashov had a strange strange career, he is one of the very best, but very inconsistent.
Schilt has lost 6 times, 3 of them to Aerts. Thats insane.
1 of them figtæhts against aertz he let him win so he didnt have to fight alistair overroid
@@majas7 Tbh Schilt's style is much better suited for fighting Overeem, compared to Aerts style vs Overeem. Just as Aerts style is very good vs Schilt's. So if Schilt would have won vs Aerts that night, im pretty positive that he would have beaten Ubereem. Its just that Overeem is not as fast, as durable or agile as Aerts, although he has youth, weight and power on his side. But since he is so plodding in his approach with the high double forearm guard, Schilt would have shreded him to pieces with his insane jab and debilitating front kick to the liver/body, tiring Overeem in the process. If Overeem dont finish Schilt in round 1 he is done for. Schilt does not tire easily and once he got your range, here comes the jabs into high knees, front kicks, low kicks all from crazy range. Just my honest opinion.
One time Aerts lost was because of a freak knee injury
@@investornabil8825 Quite right, in the 2007 WGP Final, Aerts blew his knee in the middle of the 1st round when Schilt hit him with a jab and Aerts tried to retain balance and stepped to the side with his back leg and his knee blew out for no reason. Tough luck, as he was doing really good, pressuring Schilt and landing good stuff in the small amount of time the fight was being fought.
@@stambe8605 he is great. Aerts. Overeem got lucky you’re right. But I think Overeem may have beaten schilt by KO. His power and speed were ridiculous from all the “horse meat” lol.
The worst loss has to be to Sergei Kharitonov.
Or Fedor
@@TheKickboxingCommunityagainst Yvel because he lose in striking the rest have to use Grappling against hm.
Yes,he lost 3 with Peter Aerts,1 with Alexey Ignashov,1 with Hong man Choi, 1 with Badr Hari.
GOAT în K1
Игнашов мог бы добиться гораздо большего, если б не алкояд, которым он травился. Живите трезво, люди!
😂
и сдохнуть молодым от какой нибудь опухоли в мозге! Лучше уж алкашка)
Peter the nightmare Aerts.
Peter the FatGayBoy Aerts
You forget best of the best - Fedor Emelianenko!!!!!!
Peter was great. Sadly we'll never see the fight schilt against the reem
The first two match were spectacular and rare, the third must be fake

マイティーモー❗️は、ボクシング世界王者フランソワボタに勝っている❗️ピーターアーツは、マイティーに勝っている。😂凄い
Aerts was clearly on the roids. Look at his body in the 90's compared to this fight.
Everyone in K1 was on steroids. This is well known.
