  • The problem with all these space saving designs is that when they are all bunched together, it's difficult to see the clothes. If you have enough clothes squished together, you would have to part them to see what you are looking at. If you have enough space to part them, then do you really need space saving products? lol

    @OS10100@OS10100 Жыл бұрын
    • I was thinking this product would be a great way to store winter clothes in the summer, and summer clothes in the winter. Then, you would save closet space, and it wouldn't matter that you can't see the clothes.

      @hamsterama@hamsterama Жыл бұрын
    • @@hamsterama Yeah but why would you want to use closet space for clothes that you won't be using until the next season? Isn't it better to just store them in a tote box? Why use your closet space for something you won't need until next season?

      @OS10100@OS10100 Жыл бұрын
    • @@OS10100 Well....I am definitely guilty of storing out of season clothes in the closet! Specifically, my nicer business casual blouses that I wear to work. I like to leave them hung up year-round so they don't get wrinkles. I hate ironing so much. I would dread having to iron all my blouses when the season changes. Placing all my clothes in a tote box would mean I would have to fold them, which would lead to wrinkles.

      @hamsterama@hamsterama Жыл бұрын
    • @@hamsterama Yeah that's fine. I hate ironing too. But if closet space is a factor, then comprises need to be made. Otherwise, by all means leave them in the closet year round if space is a non issue for you. Keep in mind that the clothes tend to smell a bit funky when left in the closet long periods of time due to moisture, humidity etc. I'd rather have fresh smelling clothes and iron them after washing than to wear something that smells weird. lol

      @OS10100@OS10100 Жыл бұрын
    • @@OS10100 I don't have a problem with funky smelling closets, though I'm aware plenty of people do. I live in a house built in the 1950's. Hardwood floors, plaster walls, and none of the closets back to an outside wall. So, that might be why I never get any odd smells. Closet space isn't an issue for me yet, but it almost is! I may reach a point soon where I will have to store out of season clothes in plastic totes, but I'm not there yet. I buy nearly all my clothes at thrift store, so those low prices make it all-too-easy to accumulate a lot of clothes.

  • I do wish you had compared the ruby triangles to the item you bought from ali express. It would be interesting to see how it "stacked" up, since the ali express item can hold clothes on two sides as compared to one. I almost thought the ruby triangles were a good idea, but when you look at trying to grab a shirt that is in the middle, it feels like an inconvenience. When you also look at the cost of the ruby triangles and how much space they really aren't saving, I'm not sure I would want them. I have stuff on the floor below my clothes, so I don't think I can fit 5 shirts on one line.

    @BarryMcCawkiner@BarryMcCawkiner Жыл бұрын
  • I don't think you addressed this, but the Wonder hangers look so much easier to load and unload individual items. In fact, I've been using them (not necessarily that brand) for years, and that's one of their strengths (as long as you have room to expand them). After watching your video, I wouldn't even bother trying the Ruby Triangles as a potential alternative, because it looks like a PITA to get items in the middle, or to even see what's in the middle.

  • I had a closet bar drop from the weight of my clothes on standard hangers. I'd be worried about putting too much weight... I still had room when my bar dropped. I just had a lot of heavier items. Those space saver things woulda only made it drop faster I'm guessing. I suppose if you're hanging lighter clothing it may work well. Just a thought. I'm not sure if many people think of how heavy some clothes are. For context. I had an actual bar, property installed with anchors... It wasn't an easy repair as it left big holes where the bar was hung

  • I don't know who came out first. The triangles or the other product you showed that was similar. You figured that product you could fit two extra hangers instead of the triangle one hanger. Hopefully they didn't copy that other one and discard the second hook .. or it was a copy infringement lol. But the triangle seems like it did his job. Not too bad. My girlfriend has the velvet hangers and the other one similar to the last product you had in the closet. The old style one.

  • What they should do is make numbered ones, so one sits higher one sits mid way and one sits lower, this way they won't all stick together when loaded and keep the bull the same

  • If people wouldn't own so many clothes that they more than likely don't wear, they wouldn't have a space problem in a closet.

  • me and my wife like the idea of the RUBY TRIANGLES but only issue for us is out closet isnt tall enough to even use them cause we use our closet to store our childs toys so we definitely need more space but looks like we probably gotta just get a new place lol

  • 84 cents apiece for a bit of plastic, but you can get binder clips for less than a tenth of that price and do the same thing with them-and on both sides, too, if you like.

  • On the infomercial they Only use clothes that have been Ironed and pressed almost just fresh from the factory cause we all know once you start wearing and washing your not pressing them and they won’t keep their new shirt shape clothes that don’t puff out in the first place anyway and smaller coat hangers to Probably even the size of clothes they use to If you want the ruby to work buy the wardrobe to suit the product not the other way round

  • A much more economic approach is simply using soda can tabs, they won't fit every hanger, and these gadgets are more user friendly, but the tabs are essentially free.
