@@oldworldstarkeo I think it's more to do with age as to why he sounds "rough" here. He's not young anymore. His voice was MUCH stronger in his younger days.
@@oldworldstarkeo Sting vocal style was different- I can tell you that Michael or Stevie or Luther would had a hard time singing Message in a bottle or Roxanne. Sting has a different vocal style and a unique vocals- when he comes on the radio, you know it is Sting.
@@oldworldstarkeo I didn't know singing was all about hitting high notes
@@oldworldstarkeo Influencing includes not only vocal, but other parts of music creation
11 years have passed and I'm still waiting for the official upload from the grammy account. (and watch this in hq!!!)
It's 2024 and this performance is still 🔥 BOB Marley❤
5:05 the best moment of the history of the grammys
I get chills every damn time 😩🙌🏽
Agreed!!! Damien Marley stole the show.
Ohhhh finally found someone feel what I feel every time I got goosebumps the way he carry him too much swaaaag and perfection
I also found its one of the best performance of Grammy history 👌
The band make this performance unreal
favorite part : when the vibe was so high then Damien being called out and he started rapping and the band started moving! i went nuts! even Drake's face says 5:22 it all i bet he was so envy for not being on the stage. LMAO
E repara que ele não bate palmas quando a apresentação termina. 😂
He was more like thinking of the fact that he will never do such a good performance
Hahaha right!!
I agree. That was the best part. Damien was great!
One of the best tributes. The legends on one stage. Bruno Mars is a well rounded entertainer.
Damian had mad swag and energy on that stage. Big up all island 🏝 people 🇧🇸
One of the best Grammy performances of all time.
Looking at the audience, SO MUCH has changes in 8 years.
Bruno is the ultimate performer! I loved when he said one more time yeah!
It's Sept. 2023 and I came back to this tribute. The best part for me is when Damien came out and added extra spice and everyone went wild. I love all of the artist together, Sting, Bruno, Riri and of course the Marley family. I love the unity that it brought, everyone on the same page even if it was for a moment.
Nice
Here too ❤
Pareil. Heureusement que les fils Marley étaient la ! Sinon c'est pas terrible.... Rihanna 🤮🤮🤮
I saw the Marley family at the Kulturfabrik in Esch Sur Alzette Luxembourg, over 20 years ago. Due to the size of the venue, the performance was up close and is engrained in my memory. Happy times forever!!!!
I love how a bunch of artists from a bunch of different genres and generations are all grooving to Sting. Good music is good music
I’m a huge fan of all types of music and have been to so many concerts. This is my favorite performance by far!!!
Mine too.
11 years ago here listening this Masterpiece for the history of music 👍👍👍👍
Your name is Bruno Mars and you are the best one ever to sing and pay tributes
March 2023 and this performance never gets old, the best I have seen at the Grammys
As a pure metalhead I have to appreciate this amazing performance. Bruno Sting Rhinnana the Marley's the band everyone involved. 👍
That is possibly the best performance I’ve seen in a looong time, I watched it live back when it happened and had to come back and see it again. Truly unforgettable and amazing. Every single person on that stage KILLED IT. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
I've been watching this over and over I still get stunned looking at all these powerhouse artists! Bruno is a great lead he knows how to handle everyone!
The best Grammy performance I ever watched.. the whole 2013 Grammy awards was 🔥
April 25th 2023, still gives me the goosebumps to see Ziggy and Damien Marley on the same stage. I remember when this aired live, I was instantly jumping off the sofa and dancing around my living room arms up like there was no tomorrow, happynes all the way around, greatest feeling ever. Long live Marley!!
in a sea of stars, Bruno is the center of the universe! It all starts and ends with him! Ultimate performer!
I swear he is the man He was born a alpha Love this man hit after hit and performance performance he nails it all
@@bklynzcoco This guy is considered as one of the greats but still very humble. Unassuming
Bruno is just a grain of sand beside the whole galaxy who is Sting.
@@mariojijon And yet Sting hangs back when it's not his turn. True humility. Love this performance from everyone!
Bob Marley is a legend, he deserves a big tribute. Much respect and love to the king og reggae❤️💛🖤💚
When it hit the acapella in the end that hit chillsss
Well, "Locked Out of Heaven" does sound a lot like The Police in its prime, so Sting couldn't resist!
When Grammy was nice
This remains my favorite Grammy performance of the last decade! Thank you for sharing this!
Here watchin this, June 7, 2020.. sobbing like a little baby! SOOO NEEDED to see this gathering of some of the most powerfully important relevant musicians of our time singing Marley tribute about “ONE” ... “Love” ... artists of all creeds and color coming together to sing! I’ve had it this week with all the hatred in this country and the violence and rioting! My very soul needed this today! “COULD YOU BE LOVED and BE LOVED?” ... ba da ba ba da, baba da bom” 😉
Couldn’t have said better my friend ♥️
Hi from November 2020 so needed this too bro ♥️
Instead we got the shitty imagine sing along. I just realized, we failed ourselves in 2020. We stopped spreading the love. We just spread bickering.
If bruno performed he never disappoint us. Worth to watch 🥰😍👄💋 iloveyou so much bruno ♥ ❤
Stings vocal range fits perfectly with locked out of heaven
Still watching years later!! decades of Superstars "Jammin" Jr. Gong brings the Real Reggae Vibe!!!!! So much Rhythm and Soul!~~
I forgot how good this was!
Favourite Grammy's performance
As being Sting fan since "The Dream of the Blue Turtles", This is totally something else! There is beautiful collaboration between musicians, who have respect and pure love between them and something that they represent - And yes, Bruno is something I adore and love!
10 years later..still EPIC!
All of Bob Marley's sons have got talent carrying on his torch, Damien came out with fire
first time watched it in 2013, put it on my ipod. forgotten, back in 2021 still giving me the same chillll!!!
Somos 2. Amo este performance 💜 siempre regreso a él
The king Bruno and the queen Rihanna! The most magical duet ever!
It’s 2024 but i keep coming back watching this ❤
You know when hr music is soo good you just have goosebumps?! 🎶🎧😭
Can you begin to imagine how we've split apart since this wonderful night?
Jr gong was lit

Today is January 12, 2023. This is awesome!!!
Now THAT is Grammy magic.
This was my favorite grammy performance
The most iconic performance 💕
Jan 2, 2023 and this performance still goes so hard
It's 2023 now and I sure do miss this Bruno! Haven't heard a song like this in many many years..
Loved everything about this performance! I don’t get tired of watching this over and over again ❤
me too.. Iconic! 🥰
One of the best Grammy performances of all time!! That being said...anyone notice how badly Sting flubbed the second line of Locked Out of Heaven?? :P
hahaha yeah. I noticed that too
Sting has played locked out of heaven on his Bass
One of my favorite tributes so iconic
Even after all these years… Listening to “Locked out of Heaven”… you can tell where B.M got his inspiration from. Freaking cried out of joy, when I watched this performance the first time! B.M. And Sting are just made for each other.
Just re watched this TWICE!!! Love and Miss Live Music So Much!! And Bruno is such a Great Artist!! This was the BOMB!!
His influence was Elvis James Brown Michael Jackson and the 70’s .
Damien left no crumbs 💯
It feel soooooo good to be a Jamaican
Back again, I don't think this could be any more perfect.
It's 2021 and I still think this is a goated performance I'm afraid. Bruno and the Hooligans are not even real
Incredible. Sting did NOT know Bruno's 2nd verse and it was STILL iconic! 😂 That vocal range, though. BOTH of them are altos! 🤣👏🏾💥❤️
He sang the wrong lyrics but made it work 😂😂😂😂 the remix!!
One of the best Grammy performances ever 💜
Damian Marleys part…🙌🙌🙌
This was epic, thanks hot 97 for bringing me here from that silk sonic interview.
Best high energy, talented , group of artists
Bob should be celebrated a hell of a lot more than he is. A brilliant performer with an amazing catalogue of songs. When you think of other genres of music, there are many vying for the 'greatest ever' tag and it is down to personal opinion really. When you talk reggae....despite there being many great band and artists, there can be only one.....RIP Robert Nesta Marley.
Bruno's band is so freaking tight man
Wow people actually sings for real at the Grammy amazing
this is one of the best thing that i have ever seen in my whole life🔥🔥🔥
I really love the horn sections here and of course the whole performance. So dope!!! 🤩😍
Just a bloody good performance!👍
NICE BRUNO
Ya han pasado tantos años y no supero este video 😍
