If anyone is mad at the 32player per lobby thing, then you've never been in a full lobby before. Keeping the 32 player limit and having a bigger/denser map will make player encounters way less annoying and hopefully reduce griefing, it will probably create a much more balanced experience too

A few things I hope they put over from red dead is to be able to greet or antagonize npcs and basically choosing how your character acts. I’d also like to be able to eat in like restaurants and diners like how you can in bars in red dead. There’s so much I want to come true with this game and I know we won’t get all of it but I feel like it will deliver for the most part

Looks like they will, when I watched the leaks during the robbery gameplay, when the player pointed at NPCs it gave dialogue options similar to RDR 2. I mean it’s a must have because of how much more immersive it made RDR 2

One super small detail I noticed in the leaks was the fact that because there are actual meaningfully different character model heights, and because of that car seats and mirrors appeared to be adjustable so the character can sit and convincingly drive the car, no matter what character model is in the seat

If they do add additional cities later on, it would be cool to either see some new locations, or to revisit places like San Fierro and Las Venturas. Obviously I would be down to see Liberty City again but yeah, would be cool to have a bit of a curveball.

Thank you for the video TGG! I remember seeing adjustable visors and seats in cars in one of the leaked footages, which looked kinda awesome. And I'm glad to see some of the GTA 4 cars again, as well as the new ones.

The two things I'm most down for are going prone and the weapon limitations. I've always said if I were making these games I'd make it so that 2-handed weapons show on your character at all times and the police will be alerted if you're seen, but you can conceal them in bags and store in your trunk. This would add immersion as if you ditch it you leave your backup weapons. And of course different vehicles have different trunk space, so a sports car or motorbike are quick and nimble but you can carry less or no backup weapons, whereas with a van or something you could carry a whole arsenal like the Punisher. I'd also drastically limit ammo as currently online you can carry thousands of rounds. These changes would drastically reduce player firepower and require them to choose between an assault rifle or rocket launcher, sniper or shotgun and make PVP far more balanced. I would love if they made body armor far more durable and one time use, again with backup armor in your trunk, and fix the healing system which might be the worst ive ever seen in a modern videogame...its just horrifically awful. Also fix the damn menus! So many stupid menus to scroll through which could absolutely be streamlined. Love the camera idea, hope police give you an option to surrender and be arrested non lethally, not simply gunned down for bumping into someone. And how cool would it be if you could pinch a shirt off a clothes line, or remove your jacket (one time use and need to rebuy) to help lose the cops, maybe make them shift into a suspicious mode but not instantly know its you as you try to lose them, or let you blend in to a crowd or something like in Hitman? And for online, don't show us where players are on the map unless they want to be seen or are in your crew/friends. Let us ping locations to our friends like in Apex and other shooters. It absolutely sucks knowing where everyone is in a fight, completely negating the ability to be stealthy in attack or defence. And don't broadcast us while doing missions, let other players stumble upon us naturally to drastically reduce griefing. GTA would be much more balanced and fun for it!

It was already confirmed that a zoo , library, theme parks, museums, etc will be in the game and will be 100% interactive. I was one of the few people that got to see the leaks before it was taken down and I can confirm that we will be able to ride cheetahs and giraffes

#8 The ability is most probably for casing the store. The things that were highlighted were valuables and CCTV cameras. #18 That wasn't a hovercraft, it was actually an airboat, which is very common in the everglades (grassrivers in the game)

Exited for crouch and prone as silly as that may seem. Loved being able to crouch in GTA 4 behind all sorts of low cover during shootouts. The ability to go prone for say, a sniping mission or something like a recon of the area would be a nice touch as well. For keeping a low profile/harder to detect (especially from the new security cameras system)

The pick up truck shooting obviously relies on someone else driving - so that's either a set piece as part of a mission, or it's online, or the game is totally co-op either with the AI or a human team mate. Perhaps you can drive and let the AI shoot, then character swap to reverse roles while moving. The security camera thing is also an extension of what was already in Hitman. And the cameras on GTA V swivelled to follow you even if nothing happened. Also there was something in the leaks where Lucia appeared to be standing at what looked like a poolside bar. There was a tooltip on the top left which was obscured by debug info, so I still don't know what that was about.

Most of these features were confirmed for the Alpha stage of the game and not final, meaning these features can always change

Bingo. I'd expect a fair chunk of this stuff to not make it to the final version of the game. These things just happen. Granted they still have at least a year to work on it, though by this point I would say, if they plan to launch in FY2025, the game should be feature-complete at this point, or very close to it. It won't be CONTENT complete, but the game will be playable from start to finish, though likely with missing assets. This is part of the reason R* was so upset about this leak. They KNOW some of the stuff shown probably won't make it to the final retail version, and people are gonna say "Hey what happened to X?!" and they're gonna say "that was in pre-alpha footage that you were never supposed to see. We couldn't get it to work properly, or we decided it just didn't fit what we wanted to do, so we removed it."

In one of the latest clips of the game from September 13 2022, the file reads “contentcomplete.exe”. meaning the game from start to finish is full playable but obviously still requires plenty of polish and big fixing which will be ironed out. Here is something I really want! Rework how Heist work entirely Now, you plan every aspect of the heist, any time, at any point You take pictures of whatever place you intend to rob if you see it. You see that bank? Take a picture of it, place it on the board yourself! Write down YOUR PLAN! Decide the role names yourself! Instead of being told where to get the equipment, and it being a mission, you can just go and find the equipment yourself! So youre planning a bank robbery, you decide Oh! Ill need some drills! You can find them at a construction site! Or a hardware store! Or various other places! And can stash it in your apartment! Now you don't get some forced getaway vehicle! Instead you get to use any vehicle you decide! Noose van? Steal it, disable the tracker, and you can use it to possibly get out undetected! The trunks of cars will let you hold spare duffle bags to store more stuff you steal, so you can getaway with more! So instead of someone saying oh lets use this convient armored car off some gangsters that never occurs in the world, you just find the vehicle in the world and use it as you wish! Make it entirely player controlled! I dont want any restrictions on what I am able to use, if I put in the work let me use it! If I want to, let me use a train as a getaway vehicle! This system would be so much fun not being told what to do and just doing it and learning how to do it better and faster on your own!

All I want are some nice 70s and 80s open shit suits. The closest you can do is use the shirts category. There’s the ones that are completely untucked, with an open collar that will work with suits, but you can’t use an open jacket or else you can see the suit isn’t tucked. You pretty much have to use the double breasted jackets to hide it. I used the ivory? Suit jacket that has the red handkerchief, with the red untucked shirt to make that red and white suit Tony Montana wore when he met Sosa. It also works as a Yakuza suit.

When I take off from an airport I want it to take like 20 to 25 minutes to get to the next major city or state. They would obviously have a fast travel option like GTA SA had. Like on the crew 2 if you fly from Miami to las Vegas it takes like 20 minutes of real time instead of that bs 30 seconds to one minute flight cuz the map is so damn small smh.

I hope burger shot and cluckin bell will be enterable and you can purchase stuff similar to gta 4. Also you did not mention anything about real estate and properties, which I thought was rumoured to be included in. gta 6.

If anyone is mad at the 32player per lobby thing, then you've never been in a full lobby before. Keeping the 32 player limit and having a bigger/denser map will make player encounters way less annoying and hopefully reduce griefing, it will probably create a much more balanced experience too

A few things I hope they put over from red dead is to be able to greet or antagonize npcs and basically choosing how your character acts. I’d also like to be able to eat in like restaurants and diners like how you can in bars in red dead. There’s so much I want to come true with this game and I know we won’t get all of it but I feel like it will deliver for the most part

Looks like they will, when I watched the leaks during the robbery gameplay, when the player pointed at NPCs it gave dialogue options similar to RDR 2. I mean it’s a must have because of how much more immersive it made RDR 2
One super small detail I noticed in the leaks was the fact that because there are actual meaningfully different character model heights, and because of that car seats and mirrors appeared to be adjustable so the character can sit and convincingly drive the car, no matter what character model is in the seat

If they do add additional cities later on, it would be cool to either see some new locations, or to revisit places like San Fierro and Las Venturas. Obviously I would be down to see Liberty City again but yeah, would be cool to have a bit of a curveball.
San Fierro, Las Venturas, Carcer City (While this is from Manhunt, the amount of mentions in GTA make me want it), Cottonmouth (Manhunt 2), Bullworth (The Academy is seen on TV in GTA IV) etc etc

Thank you for the video TGG! I remember seeing adjustable visors and seats in cars in one of the leaked footages, which looked kinda awesome. And I'm glad to see some of the GTA 4 cars again, as well as the new ones.
The two things I'm most down for are going prone and the weapon limitations. I've always said if I were making these games I'd make it so that 2-handed weapons show on your character at all times and the police will be alerted if you're seen, but you can conceal them in bags and store in your trunk. This would add immersion as if you ditch it you leave your backup weapons. And of course different vehicles have different trunk space, so a sports car or motorbike are quick and nimble but you can carry less or no backup weapons, whereas with a van or something you could carry a whole arsenal like the Punisher. I'd also drastically limit ammo as currently online you can carry thousands of rounds. These changes would drastically reduce player firepower and require them to choose between an assault rifle or rocket launcher, sniper or shotgun and make PVP far more balanced. I would love if they made body armor far more durable and one time use, again with backup armor in your trunk, and fix the healing system which might be the worst ive ever seen in a modern videogame...its just horrifically awful. Also fix the damn menus! So many stupid menus to scroll through which could absolutely be streamlined. Love the camera idea, hope police give you an option to surrender and be arrested non lethally, not simply gunned down for bumping into someone. And how cool would it be if you could pinch a shirt off a clothes line, or remove your jacket (one time use and need to rebuy) to help lose the cops, maybe make them shift into a suspicious mode but not instantly know its you as you try to lose them, or let you blend in to a crowd or something like in Hitman? And for online, don't show us where players are on the map unless they want to be seen or are in your crew/friends. Let us ping locations to our friends like in Apex and other shooters. It absolutely sucks knowing where everyone is in a fight, completely negating the ability to be stealthy in attack or defence. And don't broadcast us while doing missions, let other players stumble upon us naturally to drastically reduce griefing. GTA would be much more balanced and fun for it!
I definitely agree more needs to be done to reduce griefing and hostile player encounters If players want to go murder each other then actually enforce it so players need to go play PVP modes like death match to go do it instead of allowing people to grief all day every day

YES!!! Excited for that! One of my issues with GTA5 is that I played RDR2 first and so my experience has been meh about GTA5.

R* does that a lot. The facial animation tech they put in LA Noire was used in GTAV. They often demo new stuff in other games that end up in GTA.
Exited for crouch and prone as silly as that may seem. Loved being able to crouch in GTA 4 behind all sorts of low cover during shootouts. The ability to go prone for say, a sniping mission or something like a recon of the area would be a nice touch as well. For keeping a low profile/harder to detect (especially from the new security cameras system)

It would be nice if we are able to the buy houses/mansions/apartments and perhaps designing their interiors. I kinda hope Gta 6 would be more like Gta San Andreas and personally it helps me with the immersion if I have something to spend my ‘hard’ earned money on not just cars and weapons.
You can sort of do this, you can change your apartment style, and you can decorate the casino penthouse, but it’s not that good

Can we take a moment to appreciate the details in the game? I always loved the real life aspect of games, but it wasnt always there, mostly from the guards vision on the casino and cayo perico heists, but this seems highly realistic and detailed, and i love it!

The pick up truck shooting obviously relies on someone else driving - so that's either a set piece as part of a mission, or it's online, or the game is totally co-op either with the AI or a human team mate. Perhaps you can drive and let the AI shoot, then character swap to reverse roles while moving. The security camera thing is also an extension of what was already in Hitman. And the cameras on GTA V swivelled to follow you even if nothing happened. Also there was something in the leaks where Lucia appeared to be standing at what looked like a poolside bar. There was a tooltip on the top left which was obscured by debug info, so I still don't know what that was about.
I feel like the scene where someone’s shooting out the back of the pickup is just a scripted ai Lucia or something like that and you just have to get rid of the cops by destroying their vehicles. Or it could obviously like you said be like that one train crash mission in gta v where you swap between Trevor and Michael on the dingy

Bingo. I'd expect a fair chunk of this stuff to not make it to the final version of the game. These things just happen. Granted they still have at least a year to work on it, though by this point I would say, if they plan to launch in FY2025, the game should be feature-complete at this point, or very close to it. It won't be CONTENT complete, but the game will be playable from start to finish, though likely with missing assets. This is part of the reason R* was so upset about this leak. They KNOW some of the stuff shown probably won't make it to the final retail version, and people are gonna say "Hey what happened to X?!" and they're gonna say "that was in pre-alpha footage that you were never supposed to see. We couldn't get it to work properly, or we decided it just didn't fit what we wanted to do, so we removed it."

In one of the latest clips of the game from September 13 2022, the file reads “contentcomplete.exe”. meaning the game from start to finish is full playable but obviously still requires plenty of polish and big fixing which will be ironed out. Considering this was from 2022, a fall 2024 release makes a lot more sense now.

Here is something I really want! Rework how Heist work entirely Now, you plan every aspect of the heist, any time, at any point You take pictures of whatever place you intend to rob if you see it. You see that bank? Take a picture of it, place it on the board yourself! Write down YOUR PLAN! Decide the role names yourself! Instead of being told where to get the equipment, and it being a mission, you can just go and find the equipment yourself! So youre planning a bank robbery, you decide Oh! Ill need some drills! You can find them at a construction site! Or a hardware store! Or various other places! And can stash it in your apartment! Now you don't get some forced getaway vehicle! Instead you get to use any vehicle you decide! Noose van? Steal it, disable the tracker, and you can use it to possibly get out undetected! The trunks of cars will let you hold spare duffle bags to store more stuff you steal, so you can getaway with more! So instead of someone saying oh lets use this convient armored car off some gangsters that never occurs in the world, you just find the vehicle in the world and use it as you wish! Make it entirely player controlled! I dont want any restrictions on what I am able to use, if I put in the work let me use it! If I want to, let me use a train as a getaway vehicle! This system would be so much fun not being told what to do and just doing it and learning how to do it better and faster on your own!

All I want are some nice 70s and 80s open shit suits. The closest you can do is use the shirts category. There’s the ones that are completely untucked, with an open collar that will work with suits, but you can’t use an open jacket or else you can see the suit isn’t tucked. You pretty much have to use the double breasted jackets to hide it. I used the ivory? Suit jacket that has the red handkerchief, with the red untucked shirt to make that red and white suit Tony Montana wore when he met Sosa. It also works as a Yakuza suit.

When I take off from an airport I want it to take like 20 to 25 minutes to get to the next major city or state. They would obviously have a fast travel option like GTA SA had. Like on the crew 2 if you fly from Miami to las Vegas it takes like 20 minutes of real time instead of that bs 30 seconds to one minute flight cuz the map is so damn small smh.

It's a bit far fetched but I really want some actual trick physics if they bring back the BMX bikes or add Skateboards or something. Do we know if Rockstar plans for crossplay? It looks like it's unclear of a PC release at launch, but if there is one, I have a few buddies who switched to PC, but I'd like to still play with them even though I'm on PS5. I'm really hoping crossplay will be a thing. It'll continue to keep the game alive and going with constant players.
I'm probably going to grab a PS5 at that point. I'm bored of the Xbox ecosystem and don't want the Series X, meanwhile my PC is very new but I'm not confident will be able to max the game out.
