Dont care about cross play, but cross progression being pushed back is a big disappointment to me. I started playing Siege on PS4, then moved to Xbox, before settling down on PC. After all the years of playing it would have been amazing to have all my skins on one centralized platform. It would honestly give me much more of an incentive to wanna play more often knowing that my time and money wasnt wasted.
Facts, I almost wanted to hook my playstation back up and play it because then all the progress I made on PC would not have been erased but I can't because my ps controller broke
chances are that even when they do add it, it won't merge your old accounts and you'll be forced to pick a primary account. lol

Agreed started on ps4 and I bought a lot of skins especially those legendary ones would be nice to have that on PC.

I'm excited for the ranked changes. Right now, deep into a season, it feels impossible to move much on the ranked mmr. Having more ranked seperations but yet having every single rank be only 100 away from eachother feels clean, competitive, less frustrating, easier to achieve goals, and a welcome change. I kindof hope that the seasonal charms can be backwards granted. At plat 3, I'd love all my old seasons to also get all the other charms
The Bravo Pack idea really bothers me. It proves that Ubisoft could update and improve the Alpha Packs, by removing dupes and changing it's content, but instead they wanna make more £££ so they're making something new. Sad to see. EDIT: I'm allowed to criticise something I dislike about this reveal. I have not criticised anything else announced at all, the actual gameplay, balancing and new content changes look great. Ubi's (as well as most game developers nowadays) greed for cosmetics is disappointing.
Wdym they want to make more money, you buy alpha packs with renown. Not with actual money, so siege is not gaining any money from it. It costs 5k renown or you could just win a couple games and get a pack. Stop bring salty your pack luck is trash.

I'm talking about the Bravo Packs, which they said will be in the PAID Battle Pass. Padding a Battle Pass with new packs that could just replace the contents of the Alpha Packs is a blatant way to incentivise players to spend money on the Pass.

@@stephscream The game isn't free. In the past few years, monetisation of cosmetics has increased tenfold. Items that cost renown have decreased, while items that cost R6 credits have increased. Not only that, but they've added new pointless cosmetics like operator card backgrounds and poses, only to pad out event packs and battle passes to make even more cash. It's not about paying salaries, they've always been able to do that, it's about greed. It's not my fault you Ubi shills can't see the greed behind a shiny new pointless cosmetic.

@@willytheking4321 tbh Gridlock is one of the ops I was unsure about recieving this gadget as she already has an OK flank watch gadget and has the secondary shotgun for soft breaching. I think I'd have to see how effective this emp is and have a play around with it on different ops to make a decision. It strikes me as something that could bolster the pick rate of someone like IQ who is already aimed at gadget denial but is a little weak, but I think we'll have to wait and see

This is one of the only games I know if that’s always trying to improve and that’s why I still like it and have fun with it. Ever since 2015 it’s been one of my top games to play.

I was excited to play this on PC after giving up on console. Just to find out they delayed cross progression again till the end of the year. Guess I'll wait an entire year again. Smh

No cross play, bummer. About the only thing I was genuinely disappointed about. Overall looks like we will finally get new maps, yes. Making Siege hopefully a challenge especially for the smurfs. And the re vamping controls on the controller, seems similar to COD and Fortnite controls, but thats pretty good. Will be fun trying to figure that out. Well cheers all to a new season, hopefully it will be a good one

Im fkin hyped for the toxicity system. Main thing that drove me away from siege is getting tked by my own teammates who were in squads.

Don’t jump the gun about being hyped so fast your rep might be ruined as well. I’m a solo player and I don’t know if this is gonna be good for us they’re gonna have more players to review/report you so 4 votes versus you and you versus all four of them. Imo that’s gonna make you look worse, so I guess we’re gonna see how it works. My friends left about a year ago and I’ve hardly played came back and some what enjoyed this year. Idk if I’m gonna enjoy this new and up and coming stuff. That being said clipping and sending to ubi to show Ubisoft you didn’t do stuff seems like it’s gonna be critical and most of your time wasted in that aspect.(meaning you’re gonna be clipping and sending to Ubisoft more than playing the actual game) Not sure what I think haven’t seen how it actually works with true toxicity happening. But with how toxicity is in siege I don’t see this as being good for the solos you’re gonna get abused just as bad as Getting TKD. Therefore I think it’s time to find a five stack/four stack or drop the game imo.
@@ckaterdude They can't report you if you don't counter TK them. It's based off the current friendly fire system. I rather have them have a permanent flag for them TKing, as it serves as long term punishment. Once they reach 3 strikes, they cant form parties, get alpha packs, permanent reverse damage, and face long term suspension from ranked. This is exactly what this improvement is targeting. Parties. It's an automated system that brings fear with a visual tally. Way better than having the short joy of counter TKing.

I hope they make it to were the report system can't be abused, like reporting someone because they are doing good in the game. It happens in siege so much, and if it can be abuse that means that genuinely skilled players will face more cheaters or just major Ass-holes. If that's how it works. I'm very excited for a safer experience while playing siege. I Constantly get kicked off the internet and have to reload up the game because someone can't play the game on the enemy team and has to boot people because they want a good rank for doing nothing Good idea ubisoft, just don't fuck it up or half-ass it. Edit: also crossplay sounds awful if its console going up against pc, but if its only ps4 and xbox crossplay, then that would be amazing. Although cross progression for all platforms will be great too.
Please keep in mind that the devs aren't at fault for these issues. They're already trying to build a mansion on rotting foundations, and the management is telling them to build more every day, faster and faster. Of course things will be shoddy.

How can you tell if someone is using mnk? I have been playing for years on Xbox and never noticed or suspected anyone to do that.

Instead of start for example in silver 2 You start in silver 5 and go up
They are adding a rank for every 100mmr. You start at copper 5. 100mmr later you are copper 4 and so on. Goal is to make ranked feel more rewarding and add real progression. Other change is they are rewarding every charm for the rank you earned. If you reach plat, you get every charm from copper to plat. Also "additional changes" that they wouldnt talk about for some reason maybe its not ready yet.
pretty much for every rank that you go up you will get a new reward for, so say if you are in bronze 1 and then you get into silver 5 you will get a reward for hitting that rank. They also made the ranks more easy to reach as well. With the current rank system when you reach a rank from the season before you are put at that rank during placements next seasons and then placed higher or lower due to your performance. 2.0 rank will reset your rank to copper every season so that you can work your way back to the rank that you want to get to.

@@relevant3773 Not sure if you seen the operator campaigns, but all have matching uniforms and unit tactics. In comparison to the past 3 years where everything proceedingly became increasingly scifi and unrealistic, like holograms and hiring people with no combat experience for a CTU, this is something. And sadly the entire true Rainbow 6 franchise died with Tom Clancy. I suggest you get Ready or Not for a true R6 experience.

The devs must be out of their frickin mind to ask 40-60 dollars for the year pass, it was somewhere around 15-20€ before and you were getting twice as many operators with it, ubishit never fails to disappoint

You can disable it. It's a one click toggle, It's not that hard. Crossplay is for friends across different consoles. Besides that, it's for people who want instant matches as a trade off.
