Hi! I am from Brazil. He is a former beggar that dresses this way and enters all churches in Brazil to see how they will treat him. To teach people not to be hipocritical anymore. To teach them that church is God's home, not theirs. And he has truly a beautiful and powerful voice to praise Lord. It has nothing to do with promote himself or the church he visits. It has nothing to do with a drunk pretending to be saved, to find the path. It has to do with showing hipocritical people. In the end of all his visits, he reveals his identity to all. He is also a pastor. You will see videos where he is not dressed like a beggar. That is it!

As a matter of fact I still do. I also thought he was truly a beggar and drunk untill I watched other revealing videos. Well! Not fake -- an illustration -- a testimony of the power of God. No one is beyond His power of forgiveness when asked. Perhaps this man's own testimony of how God saved him and delivered him from addiction. I once heard the testimony of a preacher who had led many people to the Lord on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, then was bound by sin himself and ended up destitute and sleeping in the gutters. But God is a God of redemption, if we but cry out to him for forgiveness, which this preacher did. I was so blessed to hear him preach about Jesus once again. I may have looked calm on the outside but I was dancing and praising God on the inside just like that little girl was in this video. God is so ooo amazing!

You shouldn't have to "sell" or "pitch" something to people if it's organically genuine. They will automatically be drawn to it when the need is relevant. The idea behind it is good. it just was not genuine, which makes it false, they are in church so we will call it acting. but it is deception and close to lying, no? Churches are trying to sell their beliefs to begin with, maybe best to keep the shady acting away, some may think the whole thing is an act. to be honest i mostly got turned off after they started showing close ups of the audience and the 9 year old girl with her eyes closed and hands to the heavens in a trance is what turned me off. that's not realistic. seemed to me like there are more actors in this congregation than anything. of course this is all just how i see it. it seems like some people are receiving a positive message from the whole "show" so that's a good thing to take away from this.

Me too how many times I watch it, Actually this his Ministry to go to church acting like that, to see how people treat other people. God is Love who ever you are some are more bless some just his life only less fortunate. Common what are we doing now share the Love of God to anybody and have mercy. The "drunk beggar" is actually a famous Brazilian pastor who taught a lesson: Don't pre-judge or turn away from someone just because you think you know "who or what" they are. He wasn't drunk. He put on an act for everybody to hear him and be surprised. It has so much more impact when there is a big difference between what they hear and what they exepected to hear.

If you follow these shows, there's also what looks like an old bum who walked among the people outside the church. He spoke to everyone, no one spoke to him. He asked for spare change, they all shunned him. When they went into church, they told him to sit in the back row. One of the men said, we have a new pastor but we don't know who he is. Would the new pastor please come forward. The man who was dressed as an old bum walked to the pulpit. He talked about his experience out front & inside the church. He was ashamed to be the new pastor of a church with such cold hearted people.
