What about overexposure in the background because of sunlight when placing the sun behind the subject?

- Don't place the sun behind the subject, unless you're going for a silhouette

- @@juliushlavco for silhouettes you need the sun to be really low. But what about timings like a few hours after midday

- @@thomasalex1999 You can't expose correctly for the subject and the sun at the same time. Just avoid the sun behind the subject altogether. You could theorerically set up a tripod, take a photo around noon, wait a couple of hours and take the same picture, when the lighting conditions are better and then combine those photos in Photoshop. But this won't work in all situations
