I saw PAKISTANI SHAVE on the menu, then he gave me the works.
Penang, Malaysia 🇲🇾
Friendly barber Nazar, with 25 years of experience, from Kashmir Pakistan, works in a tiny shop in Georgetown, on the island of Penang, He is located opposite the Toh Soon Cafe, a street food coffee shop (kedai kopi).
He surprised me with not only a shave, but also a facial, massage, face massage, head & shoulder massage, and more. What an experience!

  • Enjoying these Malaysia videos, reminds me of thailand and indonesia. The best barbers are all from Asia it seems, especially for shaves the India/Pakistan region. The Indonesian guy Aji was my favourite so if you're feeling brave enough to risk your hair i'd love another street barber video!

  • Your barber is a man of few words but much action and many bog rolls. Btw, how are you finding Penang now in term of affordability, and vibe. Penang was my home away from home many years ago, and now that the U.S. no longer feels like home, I'm considering it as home again and boots on the ground reports are always valuable. Thanks!

  • I am amazed to see why this Pakistani barber is using just a small brush for applying cream shave which is used for foam shave. Seems like he is not happy of his work or may be he is just not expert of premium shaving. Anyways i am an old fan of your vlogs from the historical city of Lahore, Pakistan
