This is a lovely beginner/intermediate aerial silks sequence that has a variety of lovely shapes that you can mix and match in different orders. I particularly love this sequence with a spin!
If you give it a try, find me on instagram at aerial.esteem and tag me in it! I love to see your progress!
Thanks to bensound for the awesome free beats! This one reminds me of that time I went to France... ooh la la!

  • Oooh, this sequence is lovely and now I'm tempted to play with it! I'm new to silks, only for about a month now every week, and I'm grateful that my studio is still doing classes

  • I like the part that looks like the hammock move from a hip key on the silks, I love spinning and I go to a gym ( I can't name) most of the time

  • Love the sequence! Kind of having issues getting the knot in the right place ( knee). It keeps struggling my tight 😂😂!

    • Oh yes! It is definitely a squeezer. It will slide a bit but you want it in the lower third of the thigh but not right above the knee as that will compromise your stability. When you do the initial knee hook, use a little force to really get a good slide and lock so it doesn’t get stuck in the upper thigh.

    • What kind of skills are you working on? I am considering how to start implement online coaching; whether I would do Zoom private lessons or just have clients email me videos of what they are working on and I can critique it. You can email me at aerialesteem@gmail.com and we can find what works best for you!

    • So, what I would probably have you do is film a little demo reel so I could see where you are at (or if you have an IG where you post videos I could watch there) and then I could decide what the next best course of action is. In order to do online coaching I would need to feel comfortable with your current level of skill. It wouldn’t be wise to coach a complete beginner virtually just because there are so many important adjustments that happen early on that I believe hands on training is best. Once a certain level is reached and all those kinks are worked out, it’s becomes much easier to coach verbally without needing to physically adjust the body. As far as pricing goes, it would depend on your intentions and if you would actually want a full hour zoom lesson, or if we would work out a different kind of arrangement where I give you skills and videos to work on and build mini sequences for you that you would practice in your own time, and then send me progress videos for me to critique. The latter option would cost less than the hour long zoom lessons, which would probably be around $50-$60, which is what I charge for private lessons.
