    • Knowing how the government works is important, we the people should KNOW. We used to learn this beginning in 6th grade onward because, a Senator cannot begin prosecution. There is a long chain of procedures that must be followed which is WHY these crimes and government takeover has happened. It protected those who are doing the real harm to our system, governing and country. If everyone would learn WHO IS in charge of prosecuting or beginning inquiries for warrants/ subpoenas it would allow the PEOPLE of AMERICA to begin putting pressure on those who have that power.

Americans just don't get it. Government jobs get paid *SHIT* compared to private companies. Maybe $200k vs $million in private firms. Many government employees only work their to get inside information, to boost their salaries as contractors. Some earn $10,000 an HOUR (no joke) outside of government, simply because of the contacts they make IN government. And it's worth it to those companies, because they get things done (major deals over a beer with gov employees.) "Government employees" being overpaid is NOT the problem, the problem is people who go government for a few years to build networks and get inside intel, then go corporate to sell their secrets.

  • People hate him because he’s plain spoken. He doesn’t pretend to be someone he isn’t. He doesn’t pretend to be sophisticated or know more than he does. He admits he’s just a country boy and isn’t ashamed of it. He tells it like it is, cut and dried. Everyone listening to him understands just what he’s saying. There’s no double talk. People underestimate him because of his slow talking and polite demeanor to their detriment. I’m a big fan of his and not just because I’m from Louisiana.

    • @@faith.s_mom I get the very strong feeling that our Labour party here are getting briefings from the Democrats and are working hand in glove on certain issues. There are a lot of links between them with certain key figures having spent time in Washington. The weaponization of race is a big one. I have travelled a lot in the USA and the UK has historically not had the same level of racial tension that the US has had. However, when the George Floyd murder happened, we immediately got our mainstream media (which universally liberal left woke on steroids) in a massive pile on making out that we had the same racial problems. Black Lives Matter became a hashtag here, our soccer players started taking the knee on the pitch before all games. Anyone that said anything against it was immediately labelled a racist.
