Game Description -
Choose any real region from the world. Choose your base of operations, then rebuild and readapt the buildings around you to create a self-sustaining settlement. Take charge of a group of survivors from your city. And when the night falls - Defend the zone from the infected!
“The Mad Virus” has spread throughout the world with the speed of jet planes. The infected are highly aggressive, fast and strong.
In a couple of weeks, society collapsed. Cities are empty. There is no electricity, no water, and no food. Yet, there are a few survivors...
Establish a new “Infection Free Zone” wherever you choose. Set up shelters and production facilities. Adapt existing buildings to new needs. Build new farms and power houses. Establish defenses with walls, gates, and towers.
Utilize your knowledge of the city. What is the best place to defend? Where were the grocery stores, where were the pharmacies? Where would you look for weapons?
Remember that it’s dangerous to search the old buildings, there might be some infected lurking in the dark!

And just an FYI, Just because the swarm enters from that top left corner doesn't mean they will always hit that corner. I had some cut across the top of the map and hit the right side. May be a good practice to keep the car on them like you've been ding to lure them to that strong corner. And since your car has wigged out you can ask in your next episode if people think you should just spawn yourself another car using the console. I vote yes as long as its the same car you lost but I am fine with that myself. One car is just way to limiting.
Someone told me a way that may let me get around the issue of entering from that side I should be able to enter it from the left side as long as I enter the other tile first
I have been waiting for the release of infected zone for months and I’m glad I found a channel running through LPs for it. I love the fort aspect and would like to see more “fortified” positions and unique starts like remote islands, Venice, D.C. White House, Alcatraz island, Area 51. Those would all be really cool to see
when you build a medbay you will get the 2nd part to the army mission, if you call for back-up call it early they take some time to get there, and they stay for around 24 hours before leaving.
If the expedition tile is glitched and you cant get to it the normal way. Just go to a tile next to it and as soon as you enter that tile, click and go to the tile the car is on. Usually works for me. Basically just entering from a different direction. :)

I'd put an AR on the driver, just in case the squad enters combat out of the car. Also, with the size of attacks getting bigger, build some forts across the river.
You can create squads before attacks for extra guns on your walls then disband them in the morning if you want
You could do another row of walls on the north points of the fort, plus way more towers
I watched a bunch of your IFZ playthroughs and whilst it could be that the game has been updated more, but this is your best playthrough by far and was the one that got me to subscribe. Wishing you and the channel the best brother. also its good to see you building weapons lol, it was something I wish you did more in your older playthroughs so its really satisfying to see that work for the better as those guns have come in clutch.
Yea alot of my older playthroughs got merked early due to bugs and saves dying so it's nice having a game going longer
if you can somehow get the army truck to get damaged enough when it's there (like it getting attacked by infected or running over infected or whatever) then would the army abandon it once it isn't drivable? and just their squad leaves the map? then you get a truck? for expeditions? which maybe its just that one plot that's bugged, maybe you can still do expeditions in other plots edit: you had the same idea on your own 😂 i freakin love watching you play this game haha :) that truck was driving super slow, i think it was super close to being fully damaged (it wasn't out of fuel, you can tell how much fuel a car has by the white bar in their icon)

36:00 you could have kept the soldiers and you would have been fine. He will just bitch and moan but wont do anything. Im my game the truck actually stayed when I kept the soldiers. I cant control it but it will demolish anything that comes near it.

I've been using your car lead method to drag the infected along and it works amazingly, thank you. I've learned a ton from watching just this series and your DC one lol I would LOVE a guide though, pretty please? Haha I need it - there's so much i need to learn
PS - i learned about the cheese thing through personal experience and I have to say im glad you didnt do it xD I enjoyed it much more. I never used the cheese strat after i found out it was a legit thing

@@KnightOps-KO Oh come oooonnnn, it can't be that bad 🤣I heard a good tip for doing them is write down points of tips into categories and go down the list from easiest thing to understand to hardest or some other order. Could start out with things like construction, building types, how to find cars n stuff and end with something like horde nights and how best to survive them and expeditions/management of your people. Things like that! I would most definitely watch it regardless though ☺Also idk what branch you were in but 2nd ID here, Fort Carson for 3 years and AFC on the East Coast for 2!! I didnt know you served till I heard you say it so like.. +20 respect from another vet haha
Ha ha, ever since I saw that other person's comment picking on the AK/AR distinction, my response was like yours: All AKs ARE ARs. They're just not Armalite or AR-15 ARs. :D Besides which, I highly doubt there's going to be a lot of standardization in the late apocalypse. XD

By the way dont know if you know but if you give them to deconstruct a building and there are infected they will not move out of the HQ and stay all day doing nothing like here 17:40 Look at how they got out of HQ even tho they needed to be working on something.

Pre-CONGRATS on hitting 2k subscribers! I saw you using the click "horde incoming" announcement that I suggested. That's the only way I can deal with the large groups after day 50. I have it down to a science now 🤣 so this next playthrough I'm going to see if they can actually beat me.

@@KnightOps-KO I've gotten past day 70 on hard but I've always had a bad bug that makes me start a new game. I'm trying very hard now, in Tokyo.
@@KnightOps-KO I tried Tokyo and gave up. There are many bugs on the Tokyo maps because of the close proximity of the building to each other. I got my squads stuck 3 times in the first 20 days. There are also visual/graphical bugs where the icons of squads and icons of buildings don't show. I've never come across any of those bugs until tonight.
@@KnightOps-KO Also, here's a tip... tall buildings see over short buildings. Put your squads in a skyscraper and they can shoot the whole block. 🤣
Those guns dropping happened to me too, loads of issues with towers equipping weapons.

You need maybe 1 people in medbay only. And you can have like 12 squads that can defend you, use them. 36:00 IF you decline the military the group of soldiers would join you and the truck would be yours. To bad, and even more would come to you.

Yea there have been alot of times when theyve got in and im like yep im dead but then I live and im like oh nice!
My game is doing the same. Even if I just exit to main menu to reload the save. I have tons of stuff on the ground. I havent reported it cause I really dont know how :p lol Sometimes it is alot! Stacks and stacks of stuff.
Yea my DC playthrough ended due to 100s of thousand of ammo piled around my towers and was unplayable
Is the warehouses storages linked? Like no matter the size, all things put in different warehouses gets put in 1 storage.
Yes they are all linked before release they weren't and it was a micro managed NIGHTMARE so they changed it for quality of life.
