  • YES! I totally agree about the food quality. We had a favorite Urban Asian Restaurant we used to frequent. In fact, it's so popular that it wasn't unheard of to meet people who had driven over 2 hours, just to eat there. We have been so disappointed in the food that we've stopped eating there. It does seem to be across the board with most places. It's so disheartening to spend money and not be able to enjoy your dinner.

    • 👆yes. Everything from the bread to the meat quality has completely gone downhill. At first I thought it was from the pandemic and that the bad quality was temporary but now it is worse than ever.

    • So much more of our food is now genetically modified. The FDA has approved all this. Start checking ingredient lists. Brands such as Pepper…Farm just list “bioengineered” and don’t say what it is. As I understand even Chic Fil A has gone to bioengineered meats. If we don’t speak up this is obviously what we are getting. It’s sad and disgusting.

  • I love your stories. It’s been awhile since I have been to San Antonio. I have two pair of the Walmart Parachute pants. They also come in a denim color. It’s too hot here in Tulsa to wear jeans in the summer so I like this fabric. I agree about restaurant food. We are actually surprised when it’s good. It seems like it’s the chain restaurants that have gone downhill. The best experiences we have had lately are private, family owned places. Thank you Marni. Your videos are always fun. ❤

  • Loved the video, more please! Thanks for sharing the area in San Antonio. Havent been there for a while but good to know new or different spots to go. Also, I do agree about food quality. During covid it was bad, after few years still, bad, but i feel a few of the ones I go are getting better. Some are just getting comfortable with what they're serving. Mostbof the time i stay home and cook cause I feel it's waist of money. 😔 Thank you for the video.

  • I agree. The food quality has diminished in several restaurants where I live. It has slowly been happening over the last few years. On another note, thank you for styling no heel, yet comfortable shoes. For health reasons, no more heels for me, but I still want to look stylish and put together.
