the final was intense. biteforce saw small opening window to hit the self right mechanism aka the lever of the witch doctor. once it broken, biteforce able to flip witch doctor again, and that's the end as it couldn't use the lever again. such a mad skill and a super balanced bot: speed, strength, durability, and the most crazy thing, which is really hard to be flipped over!
Do you know where's the irony here? Well, Mike used that strategy of hitting the opponent while self-righting just to be beaten down by Paul using the same attack. I really feel that make use of a slow srimeck instead of being able to drive upsidedown it tends to be a big disadvantage. It's not easy to make a bot that can drive in any position, but I feel Gary Gin and Original Sin demonstrated for over a decade that's the way to go.
If you watch closely, Witch Doctor got flipped 3 or 4 times. Each time, someone was way too eager to deploy the self righting mechanism. It is like extended already even before the robot has hit the ground, causing extra delay to self right and more critically, leaving the self righting mechanism exposed. You can see when that belt was cut and the rib cage went limp.
Tombstone is one of my fav teams but..... The Champ Bite Force is very scary
The most damage bite force ever takes is atmost getting its forks blown-off which is basically no damage, but atleast it gives the opponents a sense of accomplishment.

witch doctor should have been counted way earlier and counted out for crab walking.

The reason biteforce is better than other bots is he is so low to the ground so other bots can't get under him easily and because of his magnetic tires it is hard to control him and he has a powerful weapon

Questionable call for Witch Doctor??? I count that it was disabled for 21 secs. Thought that would surely result in a knock out.
If you pay attention to the time counter in the background actually was something like 7 or 8 seconds. How do I know it? Because for dramatical purposes they show the same moment with different angles. You see in the clock right behind WD it was like 59 and 5 seconds later you see it in 58. They just enlarged the clip to develop dramatism. You also can see Death roll doing the exact same movement in circles twice but in different angles. The editing in this season was criticized because of this kind of shenanigans that tried to hook up drama, but instead it made us question the credibility of these scenes.

in the end its the 2 bots with the best movement control and a decent weapon that ended up in the finals.

Tombstone is powerful but every hit he makes destroyed the opponent but it also take some damage so it is hard for him to go more than one match a night

Contratulations to Paul and his team. what a win? Deathroll should have had that win imo. there was not the correct movement type from Witch Doctor after it jammed its front wheel. it was all crabwalk from that point on for Witch Doctor. The rules clearly state that the bot has to have more than crabwalk, yes? it should have been counted out. the count was stopped for crabwalking which is braking the rules. Tombstone lost due to cast metal weapon. if it had been forged? different story. wierd that such a pro used a casted weapon.

I think skill issue is what Andrea and Mike Gallety has that loses the fight against Bite force. This goes the same when facing endgame in the golden bolt final, against tantrum in the final of world championship six, as well as Huge in world championship Seven

Witch doctor should have been counted out. Other bots have been counted out for the same issues and yet again Witch Doctor gets the favourable treatment.

i think its a little bit unfair for other robots to get countered by just putting something in front and constanly change depends on enemy that would put the enemy bots design and gameplay to a great disadvantage , they should allow only atleast one if shield only shield if hooks only hooks , like example the fight with thombstone were he got easily countered by putting a thick slanted metal infront to negate his attacks is a bit unfair and unbalance for the bots design and gamplay , Let them fight as they are as original designs dont allow these quick minute changes specially on cruciall semi final fights to make it more balance for other bots .
Too bad Minotaur didn't make it. I think they need a bit of a redesign in how it moves.
