  • Looks like a pressure issue, swap left an right nozzles. If there is still an issue in the passenger side then the nozzle isn’t the problem. Leave the nozzle off and nip the drivers side tube, hit the washers and try and blow out any obstruction in the passenger side tube.

    • maybe Toyota will do that but there seems to be normal pressure on both sides its just not going where its suppose to...

  • You need to look for a restriction issue. Pull them both off and put the hoses into seperate cups and verify the amount that comes out of each after a set time

    @azdragoon72@azdragoon7218 күн бұрын
    • if the right side was restricted it wouldn't come out as much as it does...maybe im missing something but the passenger side spouts out just as much fluid as the drivers just in the wrong area

  • Good luck Jeff. Yea man you're gonna have to get serious with them it looks like. Unfortunately dealers brush off things whenever possible or just don't have the competency to do the job or even comprehend what's needed many times. The last time I went to my Toyota dealer was about a year ago. I went in for an oil change/inspection on my Camry bc they were giving me a special deal and I wasn't able to change it myself at the time from having surgery. I discovered a few days later that they didn't even fill my engine back up with oil ! I was losing power coming up my mountain where I live and if I hadn't babied it like I do and drive so easy I would've lost my engine. The oil didn't even register on the stick. If it hadn't been the synthetic oil it probably would've anyway. I usually double check things especially oil and fluids but I didn't that time. I guess it being at the dealer gave me more confidence too bc they supposes to have such strict checklist etc. but obviously not. Anyway, Yea I would tell them since it's already been supposedly looked at and fixed but wasn't that I insist on it this time. When you drive it up to the service bay have a service tech or someone come over to it and show them. Then check it before you leave this time. I'm sure you are already planning on that but you gotta be that guy on this. That's not really insignificant. It's an obvious defect on a fairly needed function and it's an expensive truck that you're paying a good bit of money for. Remind them of that and ask if they would accept that treatment. Hell man I'm ticked off for you and it ain't even my damn truck. I just don't like it when things that are someone's responsibility and job are brushed off or ignored and passed off as either fixed or fine to begin with. Especially when it's significant. There's little to no pride and integrity in work nowadays aside from the occasional good one. That's bad. It gives actually good mechanics and workers that do care and do good work a bad wrap and stereotype. That's BS. Ok then I'll quit ranting and shut up now man haha. Good luck man. Later. -Dustin C. 🐍🇺🇸

  • Being in the car world I can tell you they’re just in it for the money. Salespeople at dealers get paid by commission so they’ll do anything to get your money. Typically is it’s warranty or you only want a specific job done out of what they recommend they’ll half ahh it to get you out quicker. They typically have a number code they write on the copy of your service invoice that the technician receives. 263 is what they use where i work. 263 means cheap mf Always have them show you proof before agreeing and purchasing parts anything warranty has to have a receipt . If there’s anything electrical like low voltage have them battery test in front of you because it always prints the results. They have to scan your vin number and enter the cold crank number on your battery. If your battery is good and they want you to buy a battery they will test a dead battery to force a fail. They’ll toss the original and show you the false results to trick you.

  • I wonder if it's a factory defect that's gonna involve all truck of that year and model? I'm betting the only way to fix that is a new hood for which they're not going to warranty

    @jpolhamus71@jpolhamus7117 күн бұрын
    • maybe im wrong but I thought warranty means it gets fixed lol so if it needed a new engine to make the spray right they would have to do that but im sure tere are limitations so yes anew hood if thats the problem may not be covered who knows...im hoping the part was defective and they lied and didnt put anew one in, if thats the case maybe an actual new one would fix the problem lol, id be upset they lied but happy its fixed...

    • @@cutlerylover No you're correct but if the hood is the problem and has to be replaced because of that small part they may not do it they may tell you to wait and see if there's a recall.. but who knows Ives seen things like this go both ways. With the amount of money the truck costs it's Still worth the effort to trying to get them to fix the problem

  • Hate to say it but you need to be "that guy" on this issue and watch them do the repair if possible. At the very least tell them you want it tested in front of you and the tech who repaired it for function and you won't leave until it works. Its a simple thing techs will blow off as much as they can and rack up hrs on if you don't make sure they actually fix it. They could care less until you make a problem for them, take it back 3 time and scream lemon law on the show room floor if ya have to. My buddy got an entire truck taken back and new deal done for a completely different truck that way due to dealer modifications causing the tires to rub in an way they couldn't fix.

  • You might consider marking the offending part in some way so you know it was replaced and possibly catch them in a lie. Leverage them for free stuff for the inconvenience too, go straight to the GM and make trouble at the top, it works better than going up the ladder slowly. Also ya may wanna delete this video so they don't claim you've done something with the aftermarket part install to void their responsibility on the matter. They are snakes at dealers most often and its every man for themselves with a fake layer of customer service to keep up the facade they try to maintain more often than not in my experience.

I needed a radiator cap for my 2003 Camry and they are all $35 and up. Come to find out the Camry amd FJ cruisers all use that same radiator cap and they are in short supply these days. Never ever heard you mentioning selling items as a business, just as barter.
