On Sunday's ‘Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special,’ the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared that they are expecting a baby girl. The couple discussed when their daughter is due and whether or not they will continue expanding the family after baby number two. Markle also detailed her experience with the royal family while pregnant with Archie, and the serious conversations she didn’t see coming.

I will say this, she seems very close to her mother and made sure her mother was by her side. Not everyone is close to their family members. I have family members so negative that I can't allow them to be a part of my life. That said, take a deep breath and figure out why you are so angry with a problem that is not yours. Instead we should focus on compassion and understanding towards one another. Unnecessary hatred is unhealthy to the soul.

Meghan and Harry said that the staff who work for the Royal family told her that her babies would never get protection and titles from the Royal family and people are throwing around the race card because the baby’s cousins (Prince William and Kate’s children) get it but Meghan and Harry’s children don’t. They also said to her that the family were discussing how dark the baby’s skin colour would be. They also mentioned that for Meghan’s wedding the English tabloids were issuing papers stating that Meghan made Kate cry when it was the other way around. Meghan cried because Kate was bashing the bridesmaids dress and she told Harry about it. Harry eventually told them about it and Kate apologized and brought her flowers
My mother was german and my father dominican and it was normal to wonder if we all the children, were going to look like my mother or like my father. In every couple race mixed, that is quite normal...

It makes NO SENSE that Archie would not be granted a title like all of his other cousins that came before him.
He would have, when Charles succeeds as monarch. Their children would get the title automatically as grandchildren of the monarch. Furthermore Harry and Meghan specifically said couple of years ago that they don't want the Queen to make him a prince (because she still can by issuing a letter patent granting royal title/style of Prince of UK as she did with William's children) at the time "because they wanted him to have a normal life", now she changed the story contradicting directly what she was saying several years prior. However, considering what they have done with this interview it is quite possible now their children don't get the royal title at all...in fact it is quite possible they get their titles taken away as well...both the royal titles and the peerages (Duke/Duchess of Sussex, etc.)

I feel so bad for how much she and Harry were let down. I felt like Meghan joining the family was the moment the royal family could show that they've changed some and basically truly share their care towards Harry when it comes to how hurt and deceived he felt when it came to the treatment of his mother and her tragic passing. What they may do different this go around, but sadly it seems as though nothing has changed. I get it, its the royal family, this is their history and life, and leading as well as being public figures, so sometimes they can't break the "stiff upper lip" thing, but I feel like they could have easily shown that they care more, and had more consideration to try to not allow what occurred with Diana happen again.

Why do you think Archie should have a title of Prince? Only the children of William, the direct heir, are now called Prince or Princess though they are unaware of this just yet. I understand the royal family has been racist and terrible to Megan, and should have treated Megan with dignity like everyone else. But what I don't understand is why Megan is expecting security from the royal family after walking away from that toxic family. Walking away was the best decision they took. The security is paid for in taxes by British people, once you are not working members of the royal family, I don't see why Harry and Megan should expect security by "the firm".
She said the security concerns were raised during her pregnancy. So after they left sure, but that wasn’t decided until after he was born, but the talks about it seemed to have been raised during her pregnancy before they even made that decision.

@@swanlilly100 she clearly stated the talks took place during her pregnancy. Prince Harry said he was cut off financially when they went to Canada and they had no security. That was after Archie was born so the discussion clearly started during her pregnancy and the move to Canada gave them what they needed to begin stripping titles from his parents (his mom anyway) and security.

Even if they wanted the name prince they could not have it, because you Americans don't understand how royal family protocol goes, so I'll try and make it very clear. Archie has a title his name is Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor He possibly could have been given the title Lord or Duke but the royal family under government changes have trimmed down the royal family for cost reasons. A lot of royal families around the world are doing this as it's actually the tax payers who pay not the royals. So how it works in the English monarch is this. Queen has a child they become prince or princess. Her children have children, they become prince or princess. Then their kids do not get title. The only line to continue to get the Princess or prince title is only the next in line to the throne. Hence prince Williams kids get prince and princess because, they are next in line after William. This was quite obvious when they married as they received new titles, Duke and duchess. It was very obvious, that their kid will not get a title, just like harries cousin princess Engines new baby boy also has not. That's how the family works now, as every Duke and Lord gets tax payers money for their estates to run. Prince Andrew was not happy about this change that was made about 10 years ago as his daughters at the time it was discussed if they should be allowed to keep their titles of princess. So, the arrangement was that that generation kept theirs but their children won't get one. Harry was and is not next in line to the throne, therefore he came in the same category. So, her claim that like they didn't know is bullcrap. The boy also would be protected under palace protection if they had stayed as they had protection. So, that also is bull crap. But, that is how the system works and the government and Queen has issued the the title Duke and Lord is no longer given. They are dieing out titles now. Duke is only given now to working royal positions. Archie if they had stays and he became a working position could have later been made a Duke but now, probably never gonna happen.

My husband is in a minority group. He has dark skin, I have lighter olive skin. His eyes are brown, but on my side of the family most have green or blue eyes.
