My everyday natural makeup tutorial step by step. I updated my routine over summer which I want to share with you in today's video. Over the past year I have experimented with natural makeup to find what fits me best to apply on a daily basis.

I think in a few more years it will become norm for men to wear makeup. I can see it. Thanks in many part to all those boys who took risk to wear makeup and opened doors for other men to feel comfortable.

I love your male make up videos! I enjoy them a lot! Just want to share with you that the white part of your eyes is called the “sclera” and the blue part of you eyes is called the “iris”. Don’t forget your SPF. It’s a very important step before you put on makeup to prevent any sun damage. Keep making videos like these. 👍👍👍

Overall Carl, I think you achieved a natural makeup look. A couple of things to note: 1. Be sure to blend into your beard; when you look at your face from a profile view, you can see the lighter complexion peaking through from within your beard where no tinted moisterizer was applied and apply in a downward stroke, going with the growth of the beard. 2. When applying makeup around the eye, you want to use your ring finger and "pat" versus rubbing anything around the eye area; it has the thinest layer of skin and can be easily damaged from rubbing and pulling on it. 3. I would use the color corrector on the eye lids too as it will correct the discoloration on the eye lid that you used to correct under your eyes, while creating a freshed look to the eye socket as a whole. 4. I did notice that your lips were dry in the video, as you mentioned that you suffer from chapped lips. A tip: just before exiting the shower, take your washcloth and rub it across your lips as a way to exfoliate the lips - the warm water has soften the layers of your skin on your lips and makes removal of any dead layers easy, without causing damage or irritation. I would also stay away from wax lip balm (think Chap-stick) and find ones with Shay Butter, Vitamin E, Jojoba Seed Oil and beeswax to hold in the moisture on the lips; definitely apply a healthy dose before bed and during harsh temperature which can deplete the moisture in one's skin and lips. Lastly, I agree with the comment of other's on here and that isdon't forget to apply a SPH product to protect one's skin from the harmful UVA/UVB. Even if you are one that tans easily, that doesn't mean that the sun can't damage your skin. Most tinted-moisturizers and regular facial moisturizes come with SPF 15 to 30. I agree with you in doing whatever makes you feel more confident. One's confidence is palpable to others. I feel that how a person presents themselves to the world tells others how you feel about yourself and sets the expectation of the treatment and respect you feel that you deserve. If you don't take a moment and apply some efforts in presenting yourself in a way that shows others that you care about and respect yourself, don't be surprise if society follows the trend that you set for yourself. Keep doing whatever makes you happy and feeling more confident.

Thank you, this was an excellent video and tutorial on achieving a natural look for a guy. I have just started playing with makeup and am struggling with keeping it natural. I am not confident in being able to pick the correct shade for my skin tone. I would say that I have a similar tone as you do, fair but in the summer just a little darker/red. I am currently using a foundation but am going to try what we call BB cream which is the tinted moisturizer with SPF. I have very light or blonde eyebrows so I am using a brow pencil. Just like you I apply the bronzer all over. I am also using a loose powder and a finishing spray to set my face. I hope that with Autumn approaching you will do another of these videos for the new season.
Love this! Only thing I’d say is try using light moisturisers etc, you have pretty fair skin and hair! Medium is usually for people on the darker spectrum, even if you do have a tan! Looks amazing tho.

Thanks Carl. I’m a older male, and started wearing more concealer for age spots, although I have great skin. I noticed you don’t use a foundation which I’ve been experimenting with. Just using it lightly, with dabs of concealer. I use mascara to darken my eyebrows & mustache.

Love the channel and great video 😍 quick tip thou - Try applying the colour correctors before the tinted moisturiser and since you use a beauty blender already why not use in to blend in the tinted moisturiser instead of using your hands ☺️

SUNSCREEN! None of your products have this. You want to protect yourself from the sun. And don't forget your neck (front and back). As always LOVE the tips and video mate.
sunscreen after or before the makeup? or just buy products with spf?
I like to use an actual sunscreen after my skincare routine and before my makeup. Products with SPF is okay, but like I said I like an actual sunscreen product. Right now I'm using Elta MD UV Clear, they also have a tinted version.
I have never in my life used any sun protection. I have never been burnt in skin either😂 even though i’m out all day in the sun during summer... both in spain and hom in south sweden. And i have very healthy skin😛 no one in me family have ever used sun protection either. The ”need” for sun protection is just bullshit
How good is it to use these eye drops? medically? second if you want to have a really beautiful skin, you have to start by eating, and exercise and drink a lot of water. But the most important thing is food, since that depends on the condition of your skin, you can use many creams or beauty products but your skin will not look healthy unless you nourish yourself properly. third, I think makeup is super good. You do not seem make-up, it looks so natural. You really look good with him. Fourth, you look like a very handsome boy, hugs
MIGUEL ANGEL SANCHEZ CEDEÑO problem with eye drops is you can get addicted and you will always need them. 2. Food and water matters. Drinking lots of water is very important.
The ingredients of the eye drops, listed on the site, are: Purified Water, Hanamelis Water, Boric Acid, Glycerin, Disodium Edetate, Polysorbate 80, Borax, Didecyldimethylammonium Chloride, Naphazoline Hydrochloride. Most of them are harmless in the long run, but three of them makes me believe is better to use these drops once in a while, just on special occasions: - Boric Acid and Borax, they both contain boron that can cause some problems if it "pile up" . - Didecyldimethylammonium Chloride, or DDAC, is an antiseptic/disinfectent. It's usefull when you have to fight against some bacterial infection, but if you use it continously, can cause an antimicrobial resistence. - Naphazoline Hydrochloride, is a drug (with its side effects) and shouldn't be use for "cosmetic" purposes. It's a vasoconstrictor that can cause addiction. PS: I'm (almost) a pharmacist.

I’m not against men who do make up. I just moisturise and wash my face and brush teeth... that’s all. Wish I could wear make up confidently.... it’s just for light skin I guess.

I think you have to be just natural. You can not change your face. I am 50 and used never a beauty product. I like to wake up to the man who looks the same as the night before.

Just don’t use a white towel at the gym. FACT>>> EVERYONE will have wrinkles starting about your 50’s regardless using skin cream in your 20-30’s.
Do people not realize the reason you put bronzer on your whole face is so it doesn’t look like you are wearing makeup? If he only put it where women put it, it would look like he’s wearing blush or some shit. He’s going for a no makeup look. It would be obvious if he only put it on his cheeks.
