Jeff Goldblum should win an oscar just for being Jeff Goldblum
Maybe be will as an Honorary
@@nonnyj81 Jeff Goldblum getting an award as an honorary Jeff Goldblum? sounds good to me =P

@@mquiroz90 He was an even better Seth Brundle (The Fly, 1986). By the way, he's still Ian Malcolm. He's coming back in the next Jurassic World as either a lead or at the very least a central character. They brought him back in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom to try to reintroduce him to the series, and his cameo went over so well he's coming back as a fully fleshed out character again (still Dr. Ian Malcolm).
"GOLDBLUM, START ACTING NOW!" And he never stopped.

Lmao!!!
Lol
Does anyone else get the feeling that every time Jeff Goldblum speaks a thought, fifteen more are zipping around simultaneously inside his head?
Haahhahahah i laughed so hard
Karin Allen ~ yup
Yes, I do that and I have ADD. Does Jeff have ADD perhaps?
Absolutely not.
@@crescendo2441 No. He's been fused with a common housefly. It explains his Goldblumy nature. They actually made a documentary about it in 1986 called "The Jeff," but it was so weird they had to rename it "The Fly." Totally a true story.
Best line in any movie … “you guys were so preoccupied with whether or not you could, you didn’t stop to think if you should “ very apt
Yes, seriously
Can you believe he's in his 60s?? He aged so well!!
Minus his grey hair he looks in his mid 40s.
he literally looks like he's in his early to mid 50's. it blew my mind that he was already past 60.
I know?
That is supposed 2 be a exclamation mark
There are a lot of Jeff Goldblum's videos lately and I ain't mad about this
juliazwei god bless press junkets
juliazwei thank goodness for isle of dogs press tours
Thor: Ragnarok, Isle of Dogs, Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, he's having a bit of a resurgence recently.
He sounds so airheaded, but feels so grounded...
It's easy for him, he is a tall guy.
In a general way you know Jeff is going to be different, but you never know precisely what that is going to be.
The Fly - he should've won an Oscar. Powerful.
Cronenberg deserves several, but the Academy did not respect sch fi back then.
yeah he's excellent in that movie
@@mquiroz90 Nah, he just plays a sarcastic scientist in a summer blockbuster. Not as great.
I agree. Brilliant performance. Underrated
Till this day, that movie horrifies me and I still have a morbid fear of insects. I've kept the copy of the DVD since I was a kid (6 years old actually) Such a powerful movie. I was surprised Jeff never won an Oscar. It did win for best Makeup- Definitely needs a rerelease.
There's nobody in the world quite like Jeff Goldblum.

He fits perfectly into Wes Anderson's movies.
Life Aquatic , great stuff.
Yessssss ❤️❤️❤️
He's very modest, but he is on of very few actors that knows how to pick a script. Every movie his in, they are all memorable.
This gets ten out of ten Goldblums.

@@randonceccoli8428 Oh god I hope so! Desperately need a second season!!!
This man needs to be preserved for at least another 50 years before we inevitably allow nature to gracefully whisk him off to the next level of existence.
The man’s agent is doing a bang up promotional job, I must say. Dude is everywhere on the internet lately! But that can only be a good thing.
Kael He is here to promote his new movie Isle of dogs
He's also easy to promote. He never says a bad thing about anyone (except the abusive director, but even then he said that was good direction).
"I'm a late bloomer." You're a Goldbloomer, Jeff
10 Goldblums out of 10 Goldblums for that epic comment, sir!
How many goldblums make an Oscar
Only 1 my friend. Only 1
I'm... I'm a what?
seems like he saw your comment cause he sai the samething in his latest show's trailer
Jeff was born into an affluent family in Pittsburgh ( his father was a doctor) and is a very talented pianist and trained actor whom people love for his quirkiness. He’s a fantastic actor and a very late-in -life father of two very young children. Kudos to you, Jeff!
whenever he speaks, its like hes thinking of 10 different things at once yet giving all of those things and the one hes present in, his full attention
"See, here I'm now sitting by myself, uh, er, talking to myself about my career. That's, that's chaos theory."
Jeff is one of the most incredible actors I've seen and he ages so well
He really does. Most people look like tired versions of their previous selves when they get up there in years. Goldblum just owns his age in his look somehow.. as if it's "ment to be that way". Hard to explain :P
I think he actually looks _better_ now than he did when he was in "Death Wish".
Goldblum owns life, really.
DanHarkless ﴾Halloween videos, YTPs, & more﴿ I agree, he has grown onto his looks and he is such a charismatic person.
He looks better now than when he was young, same with george clooney.
"It was a landmark thing for me and it was very nourishing..." "Judd Hirsch was my dada..." "'Time's up', says I, ahhhhhh...." "Lo these thirteen years ago..." "and just what moves my innards, you know..." His brain is a fountain of Goldblum.
And he is a secret pirate....says I.
"I improvised most of that movie" WHAT. God The Grand Master is so good come on
Yeah, apparently 80% or so of the movie was improvised
My friend worked on Ragnarok as a sound editor and there are apparently hours of Goldblum Gold that didn’t make the final cut,
Everyday there is more Jeff Goldblum content on youtube and I cannot get enough of it
I was worried around 2007-2013 that he was gonna slowdown and stop acting and being infront of the camera.. but boy oh boy.. was i wrong
I remember I ran into him once at Singapore airport, one of the most down to earth actors I've ever met
Chen Liu omg he was here??? Man...
haha this was awhile back
My cousin and I had a beer with Jeff's brother, Lee back in 97 at a bar _(I forget the name of the place)_ he told me his brother really is a cool dude. And so was he for the record.
Chen Liu I’m am kind of jealous hehe
I absolutely adore listening to "older" actors share stories & tidbits. And Jeff's voice & mannerisms makes this into an art form.
Should have won an Oscar for The Fly. Powerful performance.
*so many Jeff Goldblum videos lately, what did we do to deserve this.*
miclazy God, (Jeff) is good.
miclazy somthing great
Goldblum is daddy
Sometimes people get lucky :D
Why are you saying it like that's a bad thing?
Man after all this years Jeff is still a stud.
Robert Delgado yes a nerd stud - bizarre sec appeal
"Time's Up" "Time's Up" My ears had an Orgasblum.
I can't believe that he said it with 99.98% same timing. Soooo cool!
i love the fact he barely acts and gets so much praise for just being himself
I get what your trying to say, but it sounds quite rude, he most definitely act thank you very much
See, see? I'm right again, nobody could've predicted that *Jeff Goldblum* would suddenly just break down his career
Dino Goodley you predicted it? When?
It's a quote dude! "See, see? I'm right again, nobody could've predicted that Dr. Grant would suddenly jump out of a moving vehicle"
Chaos Theory
blackout07maroon "it was just too preachy. always so much chaos" (did I say it right? 😕)
and and now your sitting alone, by yourself....ehe eh typing to yourself....now thats chaos
Jeff "uhh" Goldblum
Anyone else read that in his uhh yeah voice. Oo ah
I love this man for being different and he seams so at ease with who he is without being arrogant. He seems like a kind man. He put really unique and great characters out there in the movies he was in.
I remember Jeff's brief scene in "Annie Hall." Even then, he was generating buzz and being talked about as a newcomer worth keeping your eye on.
they skipped over my favorite goldblum movie "earth girls are easy"
RIGHT??? Jeff G at his most daddy.
SavageRabbit...AWWWWW! OH YEAH! I LOVE THAT MOVIE! 😍😍😍😍😍..."FINLAAAND FINLAAND!"
I thinks it's because of his ex wife in it. Although they also did the fly together so idk
I love that movie too.
Transylvania 6-5000 for me
Jeff really is a national treasure. One of the GOATs
how dare you calling him a goat. have some respect for the greatest of all time.
He really was good in Ragnarok. You could tell it looked pretty improvised which made his character seem more funny, unpredictable, strange and a little dangerous. Which is exactly what an alien grand master of a strange planet should be.
The scene where he is fully transformed in The Fly asking to be killed is still so haunting to me. Great film!
Goldblum Sounds Like the German Word "goldblume" Which means golden flower And i have to admit this Guy is a Special lovable flower for real
That's because it is German, doh
@@XaeeD "Doh"? Don't you mean "duh"?
Jeff has progressively gotten hotter as he’s aged. What other man can accomplish that? No man.
Immortan Joe I agree!
he isnt in his 50s.. he is 65!
Mr Bobertson Keanu Reeves isn't attractive tho he just looks young
Immortan Joe hasnt he! Omg i love him 😍
Well Robert Downey Jr. hasn't aged badly either
I feel like when Jeff gets on set, the director just says, "Go do your thing" and gives him like a little script or something. Love Jeff Goldblum
looking at him side by side with Will Smith, I realized how gracefully one has aged...while the other has not aged at all haha.
Adrenochrome
You should also considered that goldbloom has a movie at 1974 While fresh prince of bel air is at 1990
Seriously, Will Smith looks like an old man.
Jeff is 16 years older than Will ffs.
Black don’t crack
Jeff Goldblum finds the most profound ways to say absolutely nothing. He should seriously run for congress and just filibuster 24/7. We'll come away thinking we just learned something that could change the Universe and hey, that'll actually accomplish more than what congress currently has.
jdub87 lol. That's what I aspire to be
You just defined Goldblum in less than three lines. And I dunno why... I'm still laughing.
Joshua Weikel I think Christopher Walken is similar in that aspect. I think it’s just the way he structures his sentences when he talks
I wish more people saw life as Jeff does, myself included.
_how_ does he see life?
y a It find a way?
Agreed!
Jeff's voice is like a music, there's the tempo where sometimes he goes smooth and then a bit louder to make a clear statement and go smooth again, I love him.
Jeff Goldblum is one of the few genuine actors in the world. ❤️❤️❤️
I bet you cannot even name five movies he was in other than Jurassic Park...go ahead, if you really believe he is one of the "few genuine actors in the world" than name five movies he was in WITHOUT looking it up.

It would've been fun to hear him talk about "Earth Girls are Easy". Classic! And underrated and relatively unknown. I guess that's the definition of a cult classic!

Hey sparkles...!
I am going back to my homeland.
I laughed way too hard about this in the cinema. It is just something about hearing one of your favorite actors refference your diagnosis.
MT Bil og Motorsport Exactly!
Jeff Goldblum is the nicest man on earth and a wonderful actor :) . I grew up with his movies as a kid :) . I love his performances in the Jurassic Park movies , The Fly , Independence Day , Thor Ragnarok, and many other movies 🙂.
No doubt The Fly was his best performance. Incredible stuff! I rewatch The Fly once a year at least. Usually around Halloween, lol.
I love that movie!
Jeff has his serious silver daddy mojo going on and I am not complaining.
He's older than my parents but I would totally bag. Mom would be proud.
Please don't bag jeff I want him to live
You mean bang ?
YouCanBeTheBass mom would probably be a bit jealous lol
such great accomplishments await you...i think
You murderer!
I am so pissed off that his part in "Fallen kingdom" was too short and disrespectful, i really wanted him in action with Pratt
Same and in a scene Owen and with Blue.
"Life finds a way" - Dr Ian Malcolm
I'm a simple man. I see Jeff Goldblum in a video thumbnail, I click.
Oh dont we all ❤
when someone tells you the perfect human being doesn't exist, show them a picture of Jeff Goldblum
He's got this odd mix in personality: the wit of Tony Randal and the self-deprecating humour of Cary Grant. He's brilliant.
The Fly is still one of the few films that I still find particularly horrifying. Jeff is superb.
Still can't watch when he starts to deteriorate and the acid scene...gross.
He was quite toned, though!
The Lost World: Jurassic Park has been one of my favorite movies of all time and Jeff was one of the reasons I still love that film to this day. "Ohhh ahhh that's how it always starts but then later there's running and uh screaming."
I love how he's surged in popularity since the past year. He's a master of the craft and deserves all the recognition he can get.
I can't believe they didn't mention his hilarious role in the 1978 version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", which was just a year after 'Annie Hall' and a much more substantial role, and he said one of the funniest things I've ever heard in a film. He's co-owner of a mud-bath and a poet who's very much into the 'self-help' trends of the '70s, and he's with Donald Sutherland as they're walking into a reading party at a bookstore where Leonard Nimoy's character, very much a Dr. Phil type with a smiling facade and trite manipulations, is kind of taking over the event and making it his book-release party while Goldblum is pissed that he won't get to read his own poetry as expected, and he's ranting, "Kibner's a fraud. He releases a new book every six months with the same crap in it. Kibner's a phony." Suddenly a woman randomly says, "How can you say that about a man like Kibner?" Goldblum stops in front of her and says, "I'm not saying it about a man LIKE Kibner, I'm saying it about KIBNER!" I just re-watched that recently and died laughing at that exchange. That movie has a very Altmanesque thing about flowing between conversations and sound being its own character.
I also think of Altman for the first 45 minutes of that movie. I love that it’s like a deranged hangout film.
I’ve never met a man who so effectively represents my own image of my ideal self. It’s like watching my best possible future
He is my f*cking spirit animal. If we all could just be a little more Golblum the world would be a better place
Me too lol

Then why on earth did you watch it as a child? That movie is horrifing
Sandy Mondragon that was for age 18

Me too. Saw it twice when I was 7. It f'd me up. Had nightmares for years about my teeth falling out into a bathroom sink.
Sandy Mondragon I fell asleep one night and my parents didn't bother to take me to bed. While my parents were watching it, I woke up and let me tell you! I couldn't sleep alone for weeks after that.

Jeff as Dr. Ian Malcolm was my first ever crush. I still feel it today💔
There really needs to be an extended cut of this where he talks about all the movies that were skipped over.
He's so humble!

Yas! I'm not the only one.
one of the reasons I love his acting so much- you can hear it in the jurassic park line- he has a way with saying things very rhythmically unique which makes his lines more interesting. it’s just so satisfying to hear
The fact that this skipped through The Big Chill is just simply criminal
Yessss! This is one of my all time favorite movies - largely due to the music, Goldblum, and Hurt. They have the best lines.
When they went to The Fly in 1986, I thought, "Wait, are they jumping around? They have to cover The Big Chill."
