The parents were the one who suffered the most. Their Blood sweat n tears paid off well. Now u all can sit back at home n spend rest of your life in comfort and happiness. Salute to the parents. Indians should stop seeing govt jobs which are very tough to get as the only solution to break the cycle of poverty. Cracking UPSC is a great thing but the chances of a person cracking such a difficult exam is very low. While this story is highly motivating, one should not forget the killer competition which awaits an aspirant. People can easily get other good jobs with half the effort required for clearing UPSC. Nevertheless, great milestone accomplished by him. Kudos!
It's the same if you wamt in top 1% of any exam. IIM ABC, top IITs, private job in top firms of your field, and business is probably hardest of them all. You just need to understand what do you want to choose.
What about wasting years to get admission in IITs, IIMs etc? Some people don't even have a laptop dude. What are they supposed to do. The demand for govt. Job ends when poverty and corruption in this country ends. I know someone who can't afford to study engineering in a govt college cause you need to spent a lot of money on various thing in an engineering course compared to a normal ba or bsc degree. Everyone can't be a business man you need resources for that
I belong to general , after giving my first govt exam ( mains ) , I decided , that's the last govt exam I will give.
