How to draw Bubbles(For beginners)

Hi, and welcome back to my channel Today we're gonna learn How to Draw Bubbles in a very easy and simple way.
The materials I used:
.Prismacolor pencils (72 colors set), But you can use any other
brand it doesn't really matter.
.I also used a compass
.On a Canson Black paper.

  • I have just finished the bubbles drawing, and it is brilliant! I had a few problems with the bubbles but everything smoothed out in the end!

  • Helpful video! I liked the tip of layering white with other colors. I've got to try that out because it can be very hard to get bright colors on black paper...

  • Beautiful work. I just found your channel. I can copy this okay and I'm pleased with the result but is there a rule to learn about where the light reflects? In graphite it is simple. Shadow here, reflection there etc. Does it matter where the colours go and where they are faint or bright? Even where to put the bright flashes? I have looked but can't see a pattern to it. Sorry, but I like to be able to do my own bubbles and not to copy from others. I can be a real geek about formula and wanting to know why things are a certain way. Please give me a link to begin to understand this lovely technique. Thank you so much.

  • For th most opacity use Caran d’Ache pencils. The Luminous are lush, thick, & deposit like an HB6 or HB8

    • You do both. Blend the colours and then press hard to get a more vibrant effect

    • You can draw a bubble on white paper, but you can't use the white pencils to draw on it, you'd probably have to use black.

  • This is fantastic! But you're not teaching people what colours to use where. You're just expecting people to copy you, but you're not teaching people what you are reflecting. If you're making it up as you go along, tell people. What reference are you using? Why don't we know?

    • Crystal Snow not a specific one, I just don’t sharpen it till it’s too sharp and pointy

    • Not just one photo, I combined a few photos of real bubbles taken with good lighting from pinterest, and a 3d model that was a little more simplified than the real bubbles pictures. (Also found on pinterest) and of course I’ve looked at how other artists drew bubbles to learn from them. Then I tried a few times to find the easiest way to make it look realistic yet simplified. Unfortunately I don’t think I still have the references. But I hope this helped❤️
